I colored her up with my Copic Markers in Christmas colors and cut her out with my new Brother ScanNCut 2 machine - I LOVE that thing! It's a total GAMECHANGER for my cardmaking, that's for sure! I did a quick little "first impression" video of it - check it out:
But anyway, back to my card! LOL
I used some Christmas paper that I had in my stash, I believe it's from an American Crafts 6x6 pad, but you could use any paper you want! I added some enamel dots for just a bit of interest and the sentiment is stamped from a Simon Says Stamp set that came with my card kit subscription last year. As always, it's a super simple card (I don't have much time for anything else!), but it turned out super fun!
I hope you enjoyed my card today! And I hope you all have a WONDERFUL CHRISTMAS this year! I can't believe Christmas is only THREE days away! Are YOU done with your shopping yet?!
With the hustle and bustle of all of my DT commitments, I really haven't had a chance to update with what's going on in my world aside from crafting!
Back in August, we went to Disneyland!
(family selfie outside of Disney's California Adventure)
I had a chunk of days off in August so I thought we should take the kids to Disneyland! We got annual passes back in January and I knew we needed to maximize our trips to make getting the passes worth it. People ALWAYS ask me and for those who are wondering: if you get an annual pass, you break even after two 3-day trips. Anything after that, you come out ahead! #winning
We only did a 2.5 day trip - we wanted to do a longer one, but sadly, life calls (translation: school started) and it just wasn't in the cards (translation: we broke. LOL).
(M walking around Disney's California Adventure)
So how did we tackle such a short trip? Honestly, we've been to Disneyland SO many times and we have our passes so we never feel like we NEED to do everything in one trip. We ride a handful of rides, wait in a ton of lines, eat the food we look forward to, walk, and then repeat.
We just love being at Disney.

So with the selfie stick ban, I'm getting good at taking these selfies, don't you think? LOL
It was our first time going without our DSLR camera and we just used our phones. It was actually really freeing - we didn't have to lug around a heavy camera, we didn't have to keep tabs on who had it or who was responsible for carrying it, etc. Our quality of pictures aren't the greatest, but I'm so happy that we all just had a good time, instead of being so focused on taking pictures. It's all about creating the memories, not just posing for them.
(I just love Cars Land. I'm always so amazed at how REAL everything looks.)
As we were walking around the park, a really nice couple gave us their World of Color FastPasses. How very kind of them! We have never bothered to try and watch a World of Color show - mostly because it's kind of late for the kids and our patience and tolerance for large crowds is pretty low by that time of day, but who were we to refuse the kindness of strangers?
We heard it wasn't the *best* WOC show, but we still enjoyed it.
And the kids got their daily churro and popcorn fix.

I hope you all liked my post today! I'll be back for more Disney adventures SOON!
I'm back today with a special card I created for a co-worker who leaving our unit to go to medical school - we're all so super happy (and PROUD) and excited for her!
I thought I'd create a super special card from the peeps from my weekend shift.
Everyone loved it!
I used the Mama Elephant Photobomb set and colored it up with my Copics. I also used Sandy Allnock's #thehumanrainbow hex chart to create the different skin tones of my co-workers. They all really loved looking at the card and figuring out which little character was them! haha
The sentiments were stamped from the Photobomb set, as well as various Simon Says Stamp stamp sets (the "you" was die cut from an SSS die as well).
Here's a little video of my card. :)
Thanks so much for visiting today! :) Have a wonderful weekend!
I've got another fun video and project for you today. This time I created a step-fold card using The Greeting Farm's limited edition Ever After kit.
Here's a look at the card:
For more on how I created it, check out the video below!
I wanted to do something different and create a card that isn't too Cinderella or Snow White or even Belle from Beauty and the Beast. I thought that Ariel from The LIttle Mermaid doesn't get much attention and she is one of my very favorites!
And Prince Eric was such a stud, don't you think?

I had so much fun with this card that I even completed the inside!
Supplies: Cardstock: Neenah Solar White; Patterned Paper: Lucky Charm (American Crafts); inks: Copic Markers, Versamark; digi stamp: Miss Lilly on Bike (Little Blue Button Stamps); sentiment stamps: Just a Note to Say... stamp set (My Creative Time); other: jute twine, white embossing powder
Check out the video below for more about my card process!

I figured that since I'm a nurse and Nurse's Week is coming up in May it would be a great chance to use her and a sentiment from My Creative Time that I've had in my stash.
Didn't she come out so cute?
Here's my card process video below:

I paired up this adorable orange with a "Orange You glad it's your Birthday!" sentiment from the Food For Thought set and knew they would be PERFECT! :) I really love how this card turned out! For more fun sentiments, check out the set below:
I also filmed a quick card process video to share with you, so check it out below:
As always, thanks so much for your kind comments and for stopping by and visiting me today! I haven't been myself lately (more on that someday), but I'm always glad for all of you who brighten up my day!
I'm a week late with getting this blog post up, but if you follow me on You Tube, you may have seen this already.
It's Day #3 of my 10 Days of Cricut Christmas and this one is NOT a Christmas card (although I DID use Christmas paper. LOL)
So I used the adorable fish and fishing line image from the Simply Charmed Cricut Cartridge - I absolutely LOVE this cartridge! There are so many cute and fun images on there! My creative gears are spinning in my head!
I put the fish on a little action wobble I got from Scrappy Mom's Stamps (as well as the adorable PUNNY sentiment from the Amusing Animals stamp set!). I think it created such a fun little bit of interest to my card!
This might be my a new favorite cartridge (and card) now. :) Check out my video below:
Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out another 10 Days of Cricut Christmas Card! Have a fabulous week! :)

It's a new Tuesday and that means it's another digi stamp release day over at Some Odd Girl! This week I'm working with Bandit Wizard AND just yesterday my video on how to create this cute test tube holder went live on the Some Odd Girl Stamps You Tube Channel! (it's not LIVE yet, but stay tuned and subscribe to the channel to catch it!)..
Anyway, here's my little treat holder...
Isn't he so cute?! I just love how he sits there "guarding" his treats!
I had a bunch of those test tubes in my stash FOREVER but I knew they would be perfect for a Halloween project! I colord up Bandit Wizard with my Copics and found this tutorial on how to create this test tube holder, filled the test tube with M&M's and VOILA! I had a cute little treat holder. :)
I'll share the video once it goes LIVE!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to check out the Some Odd Girl blog this week for fun Halloween inspiration and our digi release!
