Merry Christmas!

 Hi everyone!

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas this past weekend. I was lucky enough to have a couple nights off of work so that I could spend it with family and truly, that's all that I could ever ask for for Christmas. I feel blessed beyond measure and so fortunate in so many ways!

I had created a card for this month's Farm Fresh Challenge over at The Greeting Farm blog but never had a chance to link it up but here it is - better late than never!

This month's challenge is all about SPARKLE and I thought it would be fun to add some BLING with some sequins to this card! I used a retired holiday image from one of the old Holiday stamp kits from The Greeting Farm. I just LOVE my TGF stamps - can you believe I haven't even colored up half of them? I call myself a hoarder collector. :) I've been a huge fan since the very beginning. I'm talking 2008/2009, people, and I don't see myself stopping anytime soon!

I colored this cutie up with my Copic markers and paired her up with some festive holiday paper and a simple sentiment from Simon Says Stamp. Sometimes simple cards are the best, wouldn't you agree?!

In 2017, I'll be taking a short break from design team work, but I still intend to create more projects and share them. I have a lot to do but I intend to do them for ME and not be dictated by deadlines and constraints of instructions and guidelines.

I can't wait for you all to see what I have in store for you!

Scrappy Moms Stamps November Relase Card #1!

Hi Everyone!

It's time for a new release over at Scrappy Moms Stamps! This week we're showcasing two brand new sets that are just SO fun, you're going to want to add them both to your collection.

Here's my first project for the weekend from the new In the End Zone set:

 This new set is perfect for cards for little boys or even the adult football-lover in your life! And with football season upon us, this set will be so much fun to add to your collection!

I colored up Football Ian (retired) from The Greeting Farm and created a simple scene. Not much, but it still packs a cute punch, don't you think?!

Scrappy Moms Stamps TTC: Pumpkin Patch!

Hi friends!

It's a new Tuesday and that means a new Terrific Tuesday Challenge over at Scrappy Moms Stamps! This week we're creating cards with a PUMPKIN PATCH theme, so get those thinking caps on - we want to see what you've got! :)

Here's my card:

Ok, so I know my image isn't *technically* at the pumpkin patch... but he's dressed as a pumpkin - doesn't it count?! LOL I just really wanted to color this image up and I was looking for any excuse to do it. :) Yay for a pumpkin patch challenge theme!

This cute little Pumpkin Ian is from The Greeting Farm Spooky set (no longer available). I colored him up with my Copics and I think he came out SOOO cute! The patterned paper I used is from DCWV. The sentiment is from the new Scrappy Moms Stamps set, Warts Up (It's awesome. Go get it.).

I really love how my card turned out! Hope you do too!

Scrappy Moms Stamps July Release! Cowboy Up!

Hi all!

It's new release weekend over at Scrappy Moms Stamps and the DT and I are sharing projects from TWO awesome stamp sets that are coming your way! You won't want to miss the cuteness, that's for sure!

Today, I'm sharing with you my first of three projects and I'm using the Cowboy Up! set.

I have to admit that although I am a California girl all the way, I do love all things Cowboy and Cowgirl - everything is so stinking cute!

So I knew that when I got my hands on the Cowboy Up sentiment set, I wanted to use my old Cowgirl Anya (retired) from The Greeting Farm and create a little western scene (using some old school TGF paper too, I might add!).

 

I also used:

stitched circle die from Blueprints #24   - My Favorite Things
XL cloud punch - Fiskars

I also stamped out a birthday sentiment on the inside, but I forgot to take a pic of it. Womp womp. LOL

Step-Fold Card Process + The Greeting Farm!

Hi everyone!

I've got another fun video and project for you today. This time I created a step-fold card using The Greeting Farm's  limited edition Ever After kit.

I wanted to do something different and create a card that isn't too Cinderella or Snow White or even Belle from Beauty and the Beast. I thought that Ariel from The LIttle Mermaid doesn't get much attention and she is one of my very favorites!

And Prince Eric was such a stud, don't you think?

Scrappy Moms Stamps TTC: Dad ROCKS!

Hi everyone!

It's time for a new Terrific Tuesday Challenge over at Scrappy Moms Stamps! This week we're celebrating DAD!

Here's my card!

When I was little, I LOVED watching football on TV with my dad. And we both had a mutual love for the San Francisco 49ers (Steve Young is still my FAVORITE of all time). So I decided to create a FOOTBALL themed card using Quarterback Ian (retired) from The Greeting Farm. I colored him up with my Copics and even made his uniform to match the gold and red. :)

The football in the background was hand cut and I ran it through my Cuttlebug using a bubbles embossing folder - I don't own the one I REALLY wanted to use, but this will do.

Finally I topped the card off with the "You're the Best" sentiment from the More Mini Messages set. It's not technically a Father's Day sentiment, but I thought it went really well. :)

TTC: Spring is in the Air + Scrappy Moms Stamps Release Day #3!

 Hi everyone!

I've got a new card to share with you for this week's Terrific Tuesday Challenge over at Scrappy Moms Stamps! This week's challenge is "Spring is in the Air!"

 This week I'm using "So Hip" from April's Super Secret Stamp Club from The Greeting Farm and paired her up with both of the new sentiment stamp sets for the month of April from Scrappy Moms Stamps.

Here's my card:

 

I found this wood veneer hot air balloon in my stash - I got custom cut from a gal on Facebook. I also used some clouds that I punched from a Fiskars cloud punch and I die cut the banner from the stitched decorative banner die was from My Creative Time.

I really love the way the card turned out and I even decorated the inside:

Terrific Tuesday Challenge: Pink and Yellow! #scrappymomsstamps #thegreetingfarm

Anyhoo, it's a new Tuesday with a new Terrific Tuesday Challenge at Scrappy Moms Stamps! This week, we're challenging you to create a card with a PINK AND YELLOW theme! Perfect for Spring, right? :)

Here's what I created:

I used Easter Anya (retired) from The Greeting Farm and colored her up with my Copics. I also finally found my Liquid Applique that has been missing for ages and I added some to her bunny ears and dress to make them look fluffy. For the sentiment, I used one from the Little Critters sentiment stamp set (seriously one of my FAVES!).

I think my card turned out so cute, don't you?!

Scrappy Moms Stamps - You're the Yin to my Yang!

Hi everyone!

This week, Scrappy Moms Stamps is releasing 2 fun sentiments sets! OMG, you guys are going to love them - I know I do! And I'm not just saying that because I'm a sucker for sentiments!

I wanted to show off that Scrappy Moms Stamps aren't necessarily made for Cricut, Silhouette and other SVG files!

So I used Geisha Anya from The Greeting Farm!

 

I colored her up with my Copics and added a little bit of Wink of Stella to her clothes and hairpiece and even the hearts on the background paper (so sad you can't tell from the picture!)

And I decorated the inside of the card with the "Yin to my Yang"... Don't they just go so well together?!

I used the Staggered Heart Border and the Chat Bubbles Die-Namics from My Favorite Things to give the card a little interest. Super cute, right?
