Stamp Anniething July Release Day #1: Tony!

 

Hi and welcome to Day #1 of 

Stamp Anniething's July release!  

 

I love the carefree days of Summer and hope you find this release to reflect on that.

Here is the project I made with the new stamp!

My card looks complicated, but I can assure you, it's super simple! I used some Basic Grey patterned paper I had lying in my stash, one that's pretty abstract with a lot of patterns. I then laid one black strip of patterned paper, added the sentiment, and rounded the corners of the scrap paper I stamped it on.

I colored Tony up with my Copic markers and cut him out with my Brother Scan N Cut 2. I just love that thing! Super duper simple and easy to create! I hope you feel inspired to create one too!

I can't believe it's been a WHOLE YEAR since this I started this FABULOUS journey with Some Odd Girl! As the saying goes, time sure DOES fly when you're having FUN!

Some Odd Girl Digi Release Day: Snow Queen Piper! #someoddgirl

Good morning, friends!

It's a new digi stamp release day over at Some Odd Girl! This week we're showing off SNOW QUEEN PIPER!

Isn't she GORGEOUS?!

I've been a member of the Simon Says Stamp monthly card kit for a while now and made sure I used one of the newest kits for this card (they tend to be piling up lately! ACK!). I thought this color palette was PERFECT for SNOW QUEEN PIPER and I LOVE the way it turned out!

I also used a sentiment from the EVERYDAY SMILES (clear) set. I thought they went well together, with her halfway turned around. So cute!

Some Odd Girl Digi Release Day: Snow Fun Tia! #someoddgirl

 Hi everyone!

It's a brand new digital stamp release day over at Some Odd Girl! This week, we've got SNOW FUN TIA to share with you! Isn't she the CUTEST?!

I paired her up with some of the Some Odd Girl Sunshine Sorbet paper pad - I'm pretty much hoarding it but I decided to use a few scraps up! :) I also used a few of the sentiment stamps from the Thank You Mae (clear) stamp set. Sometimes I find it hard to pair winter-y stamps with a practical sentiment (I mean, come on, how many "Warm Wishes" cards do you need in your stash, anyway? LOL), so I created an appreciation card and LOVE the way it turned out!

Some Odd Girl Digi Release Day: Hang Around Tobie! #someoddgirl

Hi friends!

Well, you know it's TUESDAY so it's time for another digital stamp release from Some Odd Girl!

This week the design team got to play with HANG AROUND TOBIE! Isn't he just super fun?!

A few weeks ago, our family got invited to a birthday party and it was for our friend turning 7. I looked through my stash and realized that I didn't have very many appropriate cards for little boys! I knew I had to make a mental note to change that!

So for my card today I used HANG AROUND TOBIE and created a cute, masculine card. Ok, cute and masculine shouldn't be in the same sentence, right? haha

I colored up this little guy with my Copics and created my cloudy sky background using my distress ink. (You KNOW I love this technique!). I cut the image out with a die in my stash and used the "celebrate" sentiment from the Everyday Smiles (clear) set and I was good to go! Yay for adding a boy-appropriate card to the cards-to-have-on-hand pile!

Some Odd Girl Digi Release Day: Tomboy Tia! #someoddgirl

Hi again, everyone!

It's TUESDAY, so that means it's a new digi release over at Some Odd Girl! This week, I've got TOMBOY TIA to share with you! Isn't she so SASSY?!

I created the background with my Tim Holtz distress inks (my favorite technique EVER!) and used some dies in my stash to create this inlay-type of card front.

I also used some Sunshine Sorbet sequins from Some Odd Girl to give the sky a little bit more pizazz as well. :)

For my sentiment, I decided to go with some letter stickers from Freckled Fawn (my fave!). Now I have a fun card on hand to give to someone should the occasion arises!

Isn't she so fun?!

Some Odd Girl Digi Release Day: Spa Day Mae #someoddgirl

 Hi Friends!

It's a brand new Tuesday so that means it's a NEW DIGITAL RELEASE day over at Some Odd Girl!

This week, we're showcasing SPA DAY MAE! Here's the card I created:

I kept my card super simple, using some Glitz paper I had in my stash. I colored her up with my Copics and used some Wink of Stella for her nail polish (wish it would photograph better!). I also kept the sentiment super simple - this card would be great for a gift card for a girlfriend or BFF for the spa or even just a mani/pedi, don't you think?!

Some Odd Girl Digi Release Day: Girlfriends Kaylee & Mae! #someoddgirl

Hi everyone!

If you didn't get a chance to check out my Movie Monday yesterday over at the Some Odd Girl You Tube channel, you may want to check it out and see how I created this easel card using the new SOG digi stamp Girlfriends Kaylee & Mae!

Some of my favorite images from Some Odd Girl are the ones that showcase two or more of the cute little friends! 

I hadn't made a sprecial fold card in a while so I thought that an easel card would be really fun to show off the girls.

For the inside, I used the sentment from the Puppy Love set (clear) and thought it would be a perfect card for anyone's BFF and celebrating their friendship. Don't you think?

I think this may be one of my most favorite Some Odd Girl cards to date!
