Stamp Anniething: You Are Better than Summer Sunshine!

It's my day to post over at the Stamp Anniething blog so I have a new card to share with you today!

So, Summer is upon us and it's time for end-of-the-year activities for the kids. I don't know about you, but all the BBQs, picnics, parties, swim parties, play dates, camps, camping, and trips are making my head spin! LOL

I thought I'd create a fun card to celebrate the beginning of summer using this adorable Diana - Here's the Scoop from Stamp Anniething.

I colored her with my Copics and found this SUPER ADORABLE patterned paper from Doodlebug Designs. Festive, right? The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp.

I thought it would be fun to create a little scene with adorable Kelly! I stamped both the balloons and her sweet image together using my MISTI and then cut her out with Brother ScanNCut 2. Makes my work SOO much easier I must say!

Digi My World: You're a Winner!

Hi again, friends!

Believe me when I say that I've been keeping myself super busy this Summer and I've been on a ROLL with creating cards!

Here's a new one using one of the cutie images from the Bowling Kids digi stamps set from Digi My World!

Another shaped card base and I'm super excited about it! This one is the Bracket Label card base from SVG Cutting Files and I thought it added a funkiness to the card - so fun, right? The sentment is from a Simon Says Stamp set (I can't remember the name), but you can use any "game" themed stamp set if you have one on hand. :)

Photobomb!

 Hi friends!

I'm back today with a special card I created for a co-worker who leaving our unit to go to medical school - we're all so super happy (and PROUD) and excited for her!

I thought I'd create a super special card from the peeps from my weekend shift.

Everyone loved it!

 I used the Mama Elephant Photobomb set and colored it up with my Copics. I also used Sandy Allnock's #thehumanrainbow hex chart to create the different skin tones of my co-workers. They all really loved looking at the card and figuring out which little character was them! haha

The sentiments were stamped from the Photobomb set, as well as various Simon Says Stamp stamp sets (the "you" was die cut from an SSS die as well).

you're so cool - #cricut card.

Hi everyone!

Are you all staying cool this summer?

The weather in the Bay Area has been a little wonky these days. Sometimes it's REALLY hot, but there have been days where we've actually had sprinkles of rain! So weird!

Anyway, I wanted to pop in and share a card I created using my Cricut a couple of weeks ago. I was totally inspired by Mary over at CardzTV when she created THIS CARD. I remembered I had picked up some mini popsicle sticks when I went shopping at Tuesday Morning a few months ago so I thought I would use her idea.

The popsicle cut is from the Simply Charmed Cricut cartridge and I used my Cricut Explore to cut it it out....

The outside and inside sentiments are from the "Ice Cream Dream" stamp set from Simon Says Stamp. I think it was the first time I used that set and I was super happy with the way it turned out!

We gave this card to one of J's BFFs. I think he really liked it. :)

Well, I've got a card to share with you today using the June Simon Says Stamp kit. I totally CASE'd one of the inspiration cards (in every kit each month, there's a piece of paper that shows some ideas on how to use that month's kit)...

I really liked the cuteness of the card so I wanted to create the same one:

Valentine's Day Card Series #6: You're So Stinkin' Cute!

Hi all!

So I've really found my groove once again with my cardmaking! and I'm so excited to share another card with you :)

I had originally created this card for a challenge... then I missed the deadline but actually created this for a You Tube process video. Well, because of technical difficulties, I never got the video up *sad face*.

That actually is another goal of mine - to start creating more card process videos. Keep your fingers crossed!

I created this card to be a center-step card because I have fogotten how much I love creating them and it really got my creative wheels spinning. I just love the way it turned out!

Valentine's Day Card Series #5: Love You

Hi everyone!

 

It's really late at night but I have another quick card to share with you today using last month's kit from Simon Says Stamp... I can't take all of the credit for this one - it was totally CASE'd from the inspiration sheet included in the kit!

Included in the kit was this super cute 3x4 scalloped card. I had no idea how to use it but when I saw what the DT did with the card, I had to give it a try. There's also a lollipop included in every kit so I thought it was such a clever idea to incorporate that as well.

And, let's just say Miss M has a great time every month discovering there's a lollipop in every package I get from SSS! haha

Valentine's Day Card Series #4: Hello You, Be Mine

Good Morning, everyone!

Today I have a super simple card using more of the kit from Simon Says Stamp! I'm really killing this kit, aren't I? I made this card a few weeks agao but I'm only getting a chance to blog about it now. I checked out what I have left over and it's not very much! Yay me!

Everything you see in the pic above are from the kit, including the stamps and sentiments. I'm telling you - simple is BEST! I also CASE'd the card from one of the inspiration photos included in the kit. I honestly didn't know how to use that vintage-y, people-y patterned paper. *lol*

Anyway, I'm just super happy to share more cards with you now that I've finally gotten my groove back with crafting! Hope you're enjoying this series! :)
