Silhouette + Scrapy Moms Stamps: Talk Nerdy to Me!

 Ok, now because of my post title I have that Jason Derulo song stuck in my head. LOL

I've got a brand new card to share with you today and it features this adorable Nerdy Owl (design ID: #65802) cut from the Silhouette Online Store and another sentiment from the Scrappy Moms Stamps set, You Are My Everything 2!

 I cut him of of different colors of cardstock - plain and glitter, using my Silhouette Cameo. I also layered him up on foam dots for some added dimension.

 I wanted him to be the main focus of the card so I just added a bit of jute twin along the middle of the card and tied it off.

The best part is the sentiment "You are the CSS to my HTML" from this set from Scrappy Moms Stamps!

I'm a huge fan of "nerds" - I think I married a great one, and I thought this sentiment was perfect! haha

Scrappy Moms Stamps - You're the Happy to my Ending...

 Ahhh, Frozen.

I think we've watched the movie 1,392,503.593 times in our house.

Everyone seems to love Elsa, but my favorite is Anna and her quirkiness and her love for Kristoff, who seems just as loveable and quirky as she is.

My love affair with Lettering Delights started a while ago after stumbling upon Jin and her Under a Cherry Tree blog. She created some really amazing projects with different SVGs, but mostly from Lettering Delights! I couldn't wait to check it out and really fell in love with the Happily Ever After (graphics set) and More Happily Ever (graphics set) after sets...

And then came the Ice Princess (graphics) set... I couldn't resist so I decided to use this set on my card today using the Print N Cut function with my Silhouette.

 

I mean, seriously, how cute is this card? I'm totally in LOVE with this sentiment from Scrappy Moms Stamps. I can see myself using it over and over and OVER again!

Just think about how many princess/prince/love story cards you can make with this sentiment! And check out the rest of the set!

Scrappy Moms Stamps - It's Your Bird-day!

 Hi everyone and Happy Sunday!

I'm back with another card for this month's fun release from Scrappy Moms Stamps. Today, I'm sharing a card with you using the new "For the Birds" stamp set! 

 The image I used is from the Silhouette Design Store called Valentine Owl with Hat (id #54773). Isn't he so cute?! And what made it even better was that he was SO SUPER EASY to use since he was a Print N Cut file! I mean, don't get me wrong - I love paper piecing and using my SVGs to layer, but I really LOVE the ease of using PNC files, too! With three busy kids, I'm all about doing things EASY and SIMPLE! :)

 I decided to create a Valentine-themed card using the For the Birds stamp set - and I used a couple of the sentiments: "It's your Bird-Day!" and "Hope your day soars with happiness." I thought they went so perfect together.

Lately, I've been on a HUGE kick of using my die cutting machines and stamps to create fun cards with fun sentiments, so this set was PERFECT!

Isn't it so fun?! I already have a ton of ideas swirling in my brain now for future projects!
