Christmas in July. Haha

Hello out there!

Well, it's 2019 and it's been quite some time since I've blogged... Almost TWO years! How crazy!

So, what's been happening since my last post???

• I've since stopped my monthly subscription to the Typepad blog platform to host my blog. Oh, don't worry, my blog and my blog content are still here on Typepad, but I no longer pay for the extra services. #daveramsey I started realizing that if I blog only here and there, I shouldn't be paying for extra stuff that I'm not using. #savemoney
• The kids are older! J is 12, M is 10, L is 6! It's crazy how time flies by!
• I honestly haven't created any cards or opened any Copic markers <-- Crazy, right? I still love coloring and crafting, I just haven't had the time.
• I taught myself how to quilt! I made one quilt last year. It was so much fun that I was almost in the market for a new sewing machine... but I think it was a just a phase I was in. I'd love to get into sewing, but I don't have the space. Maybe someday.
• I still haven't completed one year of a Project Life or one month of December Daily. face palm

BUT, I do still scrapbook using the Project Life App on my phone here and there. Here's one two-page layout:

AND, you'll be happy to know, these pages are already printed and in our Christmas album. :)

Anyway, I've renamed my blog to reflect all the things that interest me - not just stamping anymore. I really do love all things crafty! So welcome back to JoBoogie Crafts. :)

October. Already? + a Project Life app layout share.

My poor, old neglected blog.

I can't believe it's already October.

And I haven't officially blogged since December. Of 2016.

I could give you a ton of excuses, but I'll spare you. LOL The short answer is: life gets busy and I had been on design teams non-stop since 2014 and I just needed a break. :)

But I'm back!

In my absence, though, I haven't stopped crafting! In fact, I've been scrapbooking more than ever because I've discovered the Project Life App!

Because of this app I have

1) caught up with 30 weeks of Project Life in just two weeks
2) scrapbooked our July Disneyland trip DURING our vacation and came back from it just needing to print out the pages to put in our albums
3) created over a dozen layouts from our Summer RV Road Trip as we were traveling from RV park to RV park.
4) crafted countless scrapbook layouts to add to J, M, & L's scrapbooks - they're so happy to have new stories in their books!

I can't tell you how much I love this app. And I'm not just saying that because I'm currently applying for the Creative Team and would love nothing more than to be a part of it! LOL!

Here's a quick layout I made of our recent trip to Yosemite using the Project Life App! It was so easy to plug in the pictures, the journaling cards from the Explore Edition and type out my journaling! Yay for another one for the scrapbook!
