Happy Birthday (card for my FIL)

Hi All!

Whew! I just made it just in time to share this card over at the Paper Smooches Sparks blog and their challenge that ends today!

I made this card for my dear FIL whose birthday is today!

supplies: CS: white (Neenah), red (Bazzill); inks: Memento, Palette, Ranger); stamp set: Digits (Paper Smooches), twine: Whisker Graphics

Had a great time with the card and I totally stepped out of my box! I love the way it turned out!

Hope my FIL enjoys it.

inspired by... Paper Smooches SPARKS!

Hey everyone and Happy Monday!

Have you heard of the challenge blog, Paper Smooches SPARKS? I hadn't until my BFF and online crafty gal pal posted about it and pointed to me in the right directiion! Where have I been living? Under a rock?! haha

It's an inspiration challenge blog and the challenge is to use Paper Smooches stamps! I LOVE PS stamps, so I'm ALL OVER that! :)

Here's my take on it:

supplies: CS: white (SU!, Neenah); DP: My Mind's Eye; cricut cart for onsie and hanger: New Arrival; sentiment stamp: Sentiment Sampler (Paper Smooches); ink: Tuxedo Black (Memento), Melon Mambo (SU!), Kiwi Kiss (SU!), Broken China (Ranger); cloud dies: Taylored Expressions; grass border punch: Martha Stewart, twine (Whisker Graphics)

Sometimes when it comes to inspiration challenges, I'm pretty literal. I tend to think "within-the-box". *lol* I was inspired by...

-the pink onsie - I used my well-loved, but retired Cricut New Arrival cart to cut it out.
-the blues of the background - I thought of the sky...
-the green - I LOVE the pink and green combo,  so I incoprorated green for the grass and for the clotheshanger

Have a WONDERFUL Monday! Hopefully, if the stars align themselves, I'm off to The Container Store this morning to FINALLY get the final pieces of shelving for my craft room! Cross your fingers!
