Silhouette + MFT: With Love

 Hi Friends!

I'm back with another Silhouette inspired card!

I wanted to create a cute little Valentine's Day/Love card so when I saw this adorable Valentine Penguin from Miss Kate Cuttables over at the Silhouette Design Store, I thought I'd cut this little guy out and slap him on a card!

I really loved how this card came together! And I'm really loving discovering my Silhouette Cameo again. :)

Friendship Warms the Heart

Hi everyone!

I've got a fun card to share with you all today. It's featuring a new stamp that I recently purchased. (yay for coloring up another Copic-friendly image I've never used before!)

So I'm really loving this teal/orange color combo so you'll be seeing it a lot in the coming weeks in my cards. This image is super cute but in all honesty, it was so hard to color because it's so THIN! Not much room for coloring outside the lines, that's for sure! But I definitely had a great time with this card...

So I'm really into coloring a ton of images and having them ready for, if, and when, I get a chance to make a card. I have 15 or so images I've already colored so far that need homes! Crazy, right? Thankfully, I have my 2013 list of goals to keep me motivated to push through this...

Yay for:

• inking up a stamp I have never used. I can't remember what this adorable Magnolia Tilda is called but I do believe it's the first time I've used her on a card.
• using my stash: the MFT file die-namics, the white embossing powder, the twine, the deckle Nestabilities, and even the paper pad are all things I've never used. Yay for using my stash!
• blogging (yes, I'm going to have to say it every time I do it. It'll show accountability!)

It feels kind of weird to not have a Birthday Sundaes post up and ready for you all today... Since the Design Team is on a break this month, I still wanted to share a card with you all. It's not a birthday one, but a thank you one:

Birthday Sundaes Challenge #28: Birthday Card with Buttons!

I'm seriously on a roll with cards coming together! I colored up this image a while back (I'm totally LOVING My Favorite Things stamps right now, lemme just TELL you!) and when my DT assignment came up - I thought this DP I had laying around was perfect. I probably had this paper on my shelf for over 5 years now. Seriously.

But all things come to those who wait and whaddya know? The paper, the image, & the buttons were a match made in heaven!

I made this card for one of J's classmates. It was J's first birthday party that he was invited to for one of his friends at school. Don't get me wrong - he has TONS of friends, but they're all friends he's known because of DH and I and our friends having kids. *lol* So this was really awesome to be invited to a friend outside of the family & friendship circles. (if you're reading this, Thanks Julie! J and I had a great time!)

Anyway, back to the crafty stuff... *lol*
