Scrappy Moms Stamps TTC: Out of This World!

 Hi everyone!

It's another Tuesday and it's time for another Terrific Tuesday Challenge over at Scrappy Moms Stamps! This week our challenge is OUT OF THIS WORLD so show us your outer space, alien, extra-terrestrial etc. projects!

Ok, I think I'm the only one on the planet who hasn't seen The Force Awakens yet (don't hurt me! LOL). It's just that when the movie came out, the hubs took the older 2 kids to see it, leave me and L at home (since we weren't sure he would be able to sit for almost 3 hours). And that's why I never watched it. At this rate, I'll wait for the DVD. LOL

Anywho, I still know a bit about it, and BB8! Isn't this cut file from Lettering Delights so CUTE?! When I saw him, I had to have him. And I KNEW he'd be perfect for this week's Out of this World challenge. I paired him up with a sentiment from the new Out of this World set from Scrappy Moms stamps and used a bit of my favorite October Afternoon Rocket Age paper (I'm glad most of you know what I'm talking about when I say I LOVE this paper pad!

Super simple card and one 8 year old we know just absolutely loved it.

Scrappy Moms Stamps January Release: You R2 Awesome!

 Hi everyone and Happy Saturday!

Today I'm sharing one of my most favorite recent projects and it's for the newest release over at Scrappy Moms Stamps using the new Out of this World set!

 When I saw this cut file from Lettering Delights, I KNEW I had to have it and give it a try. I mean, come on. Seriously? Hello cuteness!

I used more of my cherished Rocket Age October Afternoon paper. You guys just don't understand the hoarding I'm doing with this paper pad. I'm literally using every piece of scrap I have from this pad! I just can't get enough of it!

And how perfect is the sentiment I used?! I just love it!!!

Scrappy Moms Stamps - You're the Happy to my Ending...

 Ahhh, Frozen.

I think we've watched the movie 1,392,503.593 times in our house.

Everyone seems to love Elsa, but my favorite is Anna and her quirkiness and her love for Kristoff, who seems just as loveable and quirky as she is.

My love affair with Lettering Delights started a while ago after stumbling upon Jin and her Under a Cherry Tree blog. She created some really amazing projects with different SVGs, but mostly from Lettering Delights! I couldn't wait to check it out and really fell in love with the Happily Ever After (graphics set) and More Happily Ever (graphics set) after sets...

And then came the Ice Princess (graphics) set... I couldn't resist so I decided to use this set on my card today using the Print N Cut function with my Silhouette.

 

I mean, seriously, how cute is this card? I'm totally in LOVE with this sentiment from Scrappy Moms Stamps. I can see myself using it over and over and OVER again!

Just think about how many princess/prince/love story cards you can make with this sentiment! And check out the rest of the set!

Scrappy Moms Stamps Terrific Tuesday Challenge - SUGAR RUSH!

Hi everyone!

So the holidays hit me HARD - I was sick with a nasty cold for pretty much the whole winter break while my kids were out of school and we had party after party, it seemed, for two weeks! The kids went back to school yesterday and the first thing M said to me when she got in the car when I picked them up was, "Did you know you were supposed to work my computer class today?" OMG, I have NEVER EVER forgotten an event or deadline and guess what, I DID.

AND I remembered at the last minute today's Scrappy Moms Terrific Tuesday Challenge - SUGAR RUSH!

*hangs head in shame*

So I fired up my Cricut Explore (affiliate link) - yes, I know that I wasn't able to complete my 10 Days of Cricut (affiliate link) Christmas series, btw... and got to work.

And here's the card I created:

I tried my hand at creating a card using an SVG from a company I've never used before so I found this adorable ice cream image from the Nancy's Party Cut-It Set at Lettering Delights. I had collected SVGs from LD for a while but never used them, would you believe that?! (actually, you're talking about ME, so it isn't TOO hard to believe, I'm sure! LOL) But this image was SUPER easy to cut out and it was SOOOO cute paired up with the "You're too COOL!" sentiment from Scrappy Moms Stamps set "Amusing Animals".

I stamped the sentiment using my Versamark ink and used some white embossing powder to give it a little texture and interest. I think it came out super cute! What do you think?
