DDSB Challenge: 3-D!

Hi Everyone!

Today is a bittersweet challenge day for me... It's my last challenge as part of the DDSB DT! I had nothing but a wonderful time working with such talented and fabulous ladies.... And I had a great 6 months admiring the work of everyone who took part in our challenges! Thank you!

I don't have a card to share with you all today. *hangs head in shame*... As you know we're in the process of moving, packing, and getting ready to show off our condo so it sells for decent price in this dwindling economy. *sigh* So my craft stuff is packed away and I don't have time to create right now. :(

I do hope you all take a moment to visit all of the blogs of the fabulous DDSB DT. I'm going to miss working with them A LOT and I hope to sneak a moment or two to still play along with future challenges! DDSB Challenge: Emboss It!

Hi Everyone!

Another Thursday means time for another DDSB Challenge! Today's challenge is to EMBOSS IT - Wet or Dry! I'm more of a fan of dry embossing - LESS mess and I get to use my handy dandy Cuttlebug and embossing folders. Easy Peasy!

For my card today, I used one of the free Digi Doodle Shop images from last week's Anywhing Goes challenge, called Winter Window. Check out last week's post for more details! I colored the image with my Copics and just used some Vanilla CS and some patterned scraps I had lying around. The sentiment is a rub-on from SU! - I'm bummed it came out crooked!

DDSB Challenge: Anything Goes Special Challenge!

Good Morning, everyone!

It's time for one of our favorite challenges - this time, ANYTHING GOES!

This challenge is a little bit more special. Our fabulous Judy, digi stamp designer extraordinaire, gave the DDSB DT a challenge to create an anything goes card or project using one of 3 new pre-selected new stamps!

This week, Judy is offering a choice from these 3 free stamps to use for this challenge. All winners (1st, 2nd, & 3rd) will receive a gift! More details can be found on the Digi Doodle Shop Blog...

For my card today I decided to use the super cute Baby Bubbles image. I couldn't resist coloring him with my Copics and after taking my Certification class on Sunday, I knew he'd be one to work on! :)

Cute, right? I thought this image would go perfectly with my October Afternoon Ducks in a Row paper pad. The sentiment is from SU!.

Anyway, I can't thank you enough for visiting me today. I apologize in advance for my absence lately (except for my DT cards)... It's been super crazy here at home! I'll save the explanations for a later post!

DDSB Challenge: Charm Me!

Hi Everyone!

I'm back with another DDSB Challenge! This week's challenge is Charm Me - Use a charm on your project! Sounds simple enough, right?

For today's card, I used the adorable Mouse in Tea Cup from Digi Doodle Shop. I hadn't used this image before, but I'm really starting to love using these super cute Cecil images. Isn't he just the cutest?!

I used some more of my favorite Basic Grey Kioshi DP and some extra CS scraps I had lying around. The charm I used is a cute little heart that I was saving for making charms later, but I thought it would be perfect for this project. :) The sentiment is from SU!

DDSB Challenge: Write Me a Message!

Hi Everyone!

This week's Digi Doodle Shop's Best challenge is "Write Me a Message" or include a sentiment on your card!

For my card today, I used the adorable Pumpkin Carriage image! I thought it would be perfect to create another Halloween card. I used more of my Martha Stewart Halloween stack and I really thought the DP that has all the vintage Halloween writing on it would be fun to use for this challenge! I colored my image with Copics and distressed the edges with some distress ink. I slapped on some DeNami ribbon and VOILA my card was done!

DDSB Challenge: So Distressed!

Hello everyone!

So happy you could join me today. For today's Digi Doodle Shop's Best Challenge, we're venturing into the world of DISTRESSING. I'm really starting to LOVE my Tim Holtz Distress Ink, so this challenge was perfect for me.

Here's my card for the week:

If you've seen my blog posts lately, you'll notice that I've been creating a lot of Halloween cards! I'm really getting into the season and I have a ton of ideas to celebrate Halloween this year. When I was a kid, I wasn't into Halloween as much - I think it's because my neighborhood wasn't so safe and I didn't get to Trick-orTreat as much as I would have liked. There was one time I missed Halloween completely because I had to stay home for a week because I had Chicken Pox. So not fun. But now that I have kids of my own, I'm trying to create some wonderful traditions and memories for them. We'll be starting with Halloween this year. :)

So for my card today, I used the adorable Cecil Mouse & Broom. Isn't he just the cutest? I altered him a little by removing the little moon and stars behind him. Here's what the image looks like originally:

I distressed the edges with Pumice Stone Distress Ink. And for the rest of my card, I used my newest Halloween themed Martha Stewart DP stack. The sentiment is a rub-on from Stampin' Up!

DDSB Challnege: Anything Goes!

Happy Thursday, everyone! 

Pardon my picture of my card today - I took the picture in the wee hours of the morning right when I woke up from a 4 hour night of sleep so my eyes were unfocused - hence my picture unfocused. *lol*

Welcome to today's DDSB Anything Goes challenge! :)

For my card today, I used Digi Doodle Shop's Body Tot Uncle Bubba image. You all know how fond I am for Copic coloring so the I knew the Body Tot images are perfect for my beloved markers! :) Isn't he just adorable playing his banjo?

DDSB Challenge: Use Your Favorite Stamp!

Hi Everyone!

It's time for another Digi Doodle Shop's Best DT Challenge! This week's challenge is to USE YOUR FAVORITE STAMP! Sound easy, enough, right?

Personally, I have A TON of favorite stamps, but The Summer Fun Doodles 1 Set from Digi Doodle Shop happens to be one of my most favorites.

I particularly love the little cocktail image. And for today's card I decided to color it in one of my favorite cocktails when I'm on vacation: A Blue Hawaii! A lot of people love Mai Tais, but they're not for me.

I colored my card with my Copics and added a little sparkle with my clear Spica pen (too bad you can't see it!). The DP is from Making Memories and the ribbon is from PTI. I finished it off with one of my favorite sentiments from Amuse.

DDSB Challenge: Punch Me! :)

Hello again, everyone!

This week's challenge at Digi Doodle Shop's Best is: PUNCH ME! Create a card using punches or die cuts. :)

Simple right?

Ok, so I know you're probably tired of me using these die cut clouds from PTI, but I couldn't help it - The Summer Fun Doodles 2 set from Digi Doodle Shop is perfect for them!

So  with the clouds from PTI and the kite from the Summer Fun Doodles 2 set, I kept my card super duper simple. I stamped the kite twice and colored it in with my Copics and popped it up with my dimensionals along with the clouds. The sentiment is from another set from PTI. My card base is from DeNami. :)

Simple and scenic, right? My favorite!

Good Morning, everyone!

It's time for another Digi Doodle Shop's Best DT Challenge: Anything Goes!

This is everyone's favorite time of the month because, that's right, ANYTHING - and we mean anything - goes!

On to my card:

I used the super adorable Hoot Owl image and colored him in with my Copics. I kept my design super simple and placed him on some sky blue CS from DeNami, punched out some white clouds with my PTI clouds dies and used my fence punch from Martha Stewart. Easy peasy!
