Too Cute by Jessica: Eat Cake!

Hi friends!

It's been a while since I've created a card for Too Cute By Jessica, but I'm still around! I wanted to show you this card I created using JS Baking Girls!

I thought this card would be fun for a birthday (I used a sentiment from the retired Scrappy Moms Stamps)! I used a few layers of scrap patterned paper I had in my stash and used some glitter paper for some fun dimension too. Super cute, right? :)

TCBJ: Eat Something Sweet!

Hi friends and HAPPY SATURDAY!

I've got a new card to share with you today using the adorable, new Friendly Foods Chocolate Chip Cookie.

Gosh, I just LOVE a good chocolate chip cookie, don't you?

My daughter just LOVES Shopkins (raise your hand if you have a daughter who agrees?!) and our house is overrun with those tiny little toys. There's a cute little Chocolate Chip Cookie that this image reminds me of and my daughter said the same thing!

I cut this cutie up with my Cricut and used some Maggie Holmes patterned paper. I also paired it up with my Scrappy Moms Stamps set called "Sassy Pants." I thought it was perfect!

Too Cute by Jessica: Happy Birthday featuring Kawaii Monsters!

 Hi friends!

 

I'm back with another card today! Today's card features one of the adorable monsters from the Kawaii Monsters SVG cut file set from Too Cute By Jessica found HERE.

 

I cut him up using my Cricut Explore and stamped his little face out using the Make a Monster Face Assortment from Peachy Keen Stamps. It was the first time I used this stamp set, so yay for me!

The sentiment is from the Out of this World stamp set from Scrappy Moms Stamps - be sure to pick yours up today if you've been eyeing it for a while!

I made sure to give my little monster cutie some dimension by distressing the edges of his body with some Distress Ink. Isn't he adorable?!

Some fun news: Too Cute by Jessica DT!

Hi friends!

A while ago, I received a DM via Instagram from a gal asking me if I was currently on any SVG design teams. Well, imagine my surprise when I finally realized that I even had a DM waiting for me - it had been unread since FEBRUARY! Ack!

So, anyway, to make a long story short, I was asked to join the Too Cute by Jessica design team! How fun, right?!

I'm super excited to play with some fun SVGs and I'm happy to have a reason to use my Cameo and Explore! They won't be gathering dust! Hooray!

Here's my first card using the Kawaii Foods set:

 

I replaced the face with a stamped face from the Kawaii Face Assortment set from Peachy Keen Stamps - I think it looks super fun! The patterned paper is from My Mind's Eye and I used a lot of kraft cardstock as well. The sentiment is from My Creative Time.

Scrappy Moms Stamps TTC: Lucky You!

 Hi everyone!

It's Tuesday and it's time for a new Terrific Tuesday Challenge over at Scrappy Moms Stamps!

This week's challenge is LUCKY YOU - so get in the the mood for St. Patrick's Day and use a shamrock or create a lucky (or good luck) card!

Here's what I created this week:

 

 I decided to use my Cricut Explore and found this adorable leprechaun in Design Space (I have the cartridge, I think it's from Simply Charmed). I thought it would be great to give it as much shimmer as I could so I used a lot of glitter paper and some shiny patterned paper I picked up from Hobby Lobby. This cutie is also set on an Action Wobble (get yours HERE!) and I finished it off with the "good luck" sentiment from the More Mini Messages sentiments set.

 

I just LOVE how this card came out!

Scrappy Moms Stamps TTC: Out of This World!

 Hi everyone!

It's another Tuesday and it's time for another Terrific Tuesday Challenge over at Scrappy Moms Stamps! This week our challenge is OUT OF THIS WORLD so show us your outer space, alien, extra-terrestrial etc. projects!

Here's mine!

 

Ok, I think I'm the only one on the planet who hasn't seen The Force Awakens yet (don't hurt me! LOL). It's just that when the movie came out, the hubs took the older 2 kids to see it, leave me and L at home (since we weren't sure he would be able to sit for almost 3 hours). And that's why I never watched it. At this rate, I'll wait for the DVD. LOL

Anywho, I still know a bit about it, and BB8! Isn't this cut file from Lettering Delights so CUTE?! When I saw him, I had to have him. And I KNEW he'd be perfect for this week's Out of this World challenge. I paired him up with a sentiment from the new Out of this World set from Scrappy Moms stamps and used a bit of my favorite October Afternoon Rocket Age paper (I'm glad most of you know what I'm talking about when I say I LOVE this paper pad!

Super simple card and one 8 year old we know just absolutely loved it.

A while ago I was asked via my Etsy shop to create card similar to this one I made a while back. With some special requests and a bit of tweaking to the design, here's what I came up with!

 I think it came out pretty cute!

I used a TON of supplies on this card and I really love how it came together!

I'm starting to realize that I'm really loving creating cards using my Cricut. I'm not going to lie - it does take a lot of time and effort. I really have to plan out my project, but in the end, I do feel it's worth it for the recipient of the card. They're one of a kind!

Scrappy Moms Stamps November Release Project #2!

 Hi friends!

I'm back with another project for this month's release over at Scrappy Moms Stamps!

So I was looking through Cricut Design Space, trying to figure out what to use for my project today... I knew I hadn't created a layout using my Cricut in quite some time so I thought that using one of the pre-designed scrapbook layouts and jazzing it up a bit would be fun!

Here's what I created:

 I found this pretty cool layout in the Cricut Design Store. I had hemmed and hawed over getting a subscription, but I finally bit the bullet and have no regrets! I'm really using my Cricut now! :)

I thought that by adding a couple of sentiments form the new In the Zone set from Scrappy Moms Stamps would complete the look I was going for - what do you think?!

This set isn't just for card-making as you can see!

Scrappy Moms Stamps TTC: Scarecrow

 Hi friends!

 It's time for a new Terrific Tuesday Challenge over at Scrappy Moms Stamps! This week we're creating cards with SCARECROWS!

And I have to admit: this was a bit of a CHALLENGE for me - I realized I have never ever made a card with a lone scarecrow on it, so it was time to bust out the Cricut Explore!

As I looked in the Cricut Design Space library, I came across this adorable little scarecrow from the Simply Charmed cartridge and knew I had to use it! I paired it up with some Fall-themed DCWV patterned paper, used a sentiment from the Writings on the Wall stamp set from Scrappy Moms Stamps. I think it came out perfect, don't you? :)
