Well, at least that's what it feels like! *lol* Let's see... I had prescheduled all of my blog posts up until Monday... I thought I'd get a chance to blog between now and then, but I never had a chance! AND I never had a chance to work on any projects - been so busy with the kids that I haven't had any creative time. AND all of my favorite shows are beginning their fall season so my DVR is super FULL. Ack! What do I do? *lol*
Today's card is for 2 challenges:
This card is based of of Amy Rysavy's Friday Sketch Challenge. See the sketch HERE . (AMYRS7)
I have never participated in one of her sketch challenges before but I've always wanted to! This one was super fun and I really love the layers. And of course, I had to incorporate my loose interpretation of those layers by using circles and ovals. You know me. *lol*
The second challenge is based on Jessica Diedrich's The Diedrich Dare for this week (DD03). LOVE this challenge blog! I think it's awesome that Jessica's kids all take turns issuing the challenges - sketches or color challenges. They're all super fun!
This week is all about a color challenge: orange, blue, and green... and while those may not be my most favorite colors to use together, I think it was very inspiring to think outside of my comfort zone.
What do you think?
Anyway, I have to keep this a little short since only one of my kids is napping and the other is crawling all over the floor!
Til next time! *hugs*
