Stamp Anniething December Theme Week Day #3!

Hi friends! Welcome to my blog - it's time for another Theme Week over at Stamp Anniething!! 

 

This week's theme is all about GLITTER!

We would love for you to participate with us in our THEME WEEK and it's quite easy to do so!  Simply create a project using ANY Stamp Anniething product (as your main focal point) in the set "theme" for this month. Post your project to the corresponding album over at our Face Book Group page (Stamp Anniething Stampers)! You may enter as many projects as you wish, but you will only be counted as ONE entry person.  A minimum of 5 people (not including DT Members) is needed in order for a prize to be given.

Make ANY project that is inspired by GLITTER!

 

 

For my card this week, I wanted to be festive and decided to use Annie - Happy New Year! I thought she was super appropriate for this time of year and decided to color her up with simple black, whites, and GOLD!

supplies:
cardstock: solar white (Neenah)
patterned paper: Teresa Collins
other: Wink of Stella glitter pen (gold), Stickles (Stardust), ribbon, pierced circle die (My Favorite Things)

 

I also LOVE how her little party hat says "Happy New Year" - you could just color her up and put her on a card without a sentiment. Her hat says it all! :)

Quick Creations GDT: Happy Birthday

Hi friends!

I'm here with another new card I created as a guest design team member for Quick Creations!

For my card today I used "Cupcake Avery" from The Paper Nest Dolls!

 

 

I totally kept it simple and decided to create a square card. Sometimes you just have to step out of the "rectangular box", don't you think? :)

I colored her up with my Copics and paired her up with some My Mind's Eye "Hooray" paper.

 

 

Isn't Avery so cute?!

Merry Christmas!

 Hi everyone!

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas this past weekend. I was lucky enough to have a couple nights off of work so that I could spend it with family and truly, that's all that I could ever ask for for Christmas. I feel blessed beyond measure and so fortunate in so many ways!

I had created a card for this month's Farm Fresh Challenge over at The Greeting Farm blog but never had a chance to link it up but here it is - better late than never!

This month's challenge is all about SPARKLE and I thought it would be fun to add some BLING with some sequins to this card! I used a retired holiday image from one of the old Holiday stamp kits from The Greeting Farm. I just LOVE my TGF stamps - can you believe I haven't even colored up half of them? I call myself a hoarder collector. :) I've been a huge fan since the very beginning. I'm talking 2008/2009, people, and I don't see myself stopping anytime soon!

I colored this cutie up with my Copic markers and paired her up with some festive holiday paper and a simple sentiment from Simon Says Stamp. Sometimes simple cards are the best, wouldn't you agree?!

In 2017, I'll be taking a short break from design team work, but I still intend to create more projects and share them. I have a lot to do but I intend to do them for ME and not be dictated by deadlines and constraints of instructions and guidelines.

I can't wait for you all to see what I have in store for you!

Stamp Anniething: What a deer...

Hi everyone!

I'm back with another new card!

Can you believe that Christmas is only a few days away??? Neither can I, but I'm still trying to scramble with wrapping presents, gathering stocking stuffers, and doing some Christmas crafting!

Here's my latest card for Stamp Anniething:

 

 

I colored up the adorable Lucille - What a Deer with my Copic Markers. I honestly love her little reindeer hat on - it's so super festive and fun. It really completes her outfit, don't you think? I used a lot of Christmas paper that I had in my stash (please remind me never to go shopping for Christmas paper again - I think I have enough to make 1000+ cards! LOL). I added some holly "bling" for some dimension and thought it would be fun as a sparkly element! Finally, I stamped the "what a deer" sentiment from the stamp set onto some kraft cardstock and punched it out with my Modern Label punch (retired) from Stampin' Up.

Whew! I do believe this may be my last Christmas card for 2016! What a wonderful year it's been!

Stamp Anniething: For Someone Sweet

Hi everyone!

It's Wednesday and that means I have a new card to share with you today that I created for Stamp Anniething!

Christmas is only 11 days away - can you believe it?! I really can't, but I wanted to get into the holiday spirit by creating a new Christmas-themed card!

 

I colored up Brooke - For Someone Sweet because she truly speaks to me. I mean, come on, how cute is she with her little knee-high socks and candy cane! I kept the card simple, making sure I stuck with the red/green/white theme. I love traditional Christmas colors, don't you?!

She's so adorable for the New Year and waiting for the ball to drop! She was so much fun to color with my Copic Markers and I paired her with some fun, gold-foiled patterned paper from Pink Paislee. The pictures just don't do this card justice - it's one of my new recent faves. :)

Stamp Anniething December Release Day #2: Felicity - Be Healthy!

 If you're anything like me, when there's a new year beginning, I always think that it's time to start fresh - this includes being more conscious of my health and wanting to exercise more and eat better. Isn't this Felicity so perfect for those goals?!

 

I colored her up with my Copics and used some Simple Stories paper I had in my stash and used a cardstock element from the same collection. I want to pin this card to my motivation board to remind me to get by butt in gear and get healthy in 2017!

 

Let's hope it works! :)

 I thought Giselle was ready for MARDI GRAS so I colored her up with my Copic Markers and used some really rich and vibrant purples and greens. I added a bling swirl for some fun and interest! To me, she looks like she's totally ready to party and dance the night away!
