SAT February Theme Week Day #3!

 

 

It's time for another Theme Week!
This time its all about using 3 shades of a color!
*Yes you MAY use more than three shades, but there is a min of three for this theme week!*

 

We would love for you to participate with us in our THEME WEEK, and it's quite easy to do so!

 

• Simply create a project using ANY Stamp Anniething product (as your main focal point) in the set "theme" for that month.
• Post your project to the corresponding album over at our Face Book Group page (Stamp Anniething Stampers)!
• You may enter as many projects as you wish, but you will only be counted as ONE entry person.
• A minimum of 5 people (not including DT Members) is needed in order for a prize to be given.

 

So here we go for February's Theme Week!

Here is what I created for February!

and the inside:

  I decided to use Brooke - Smile for my project today - with the warmer weather coming up, I thought she was super perfect for the mood I'm in. :) Also, I wanted to created a cute, fun, and PINK Valentine's Day card to have in my stash (because in all honesty, I'm terrible at giving cards to my hubby for holidays like this! LOL).

I found some stickers in my stash and kept it super simple. I really love the way it turned out! I used a Simon Says Stamp card kit that I hadn't used and used most of the elements from there - the patterned paper, cardstock, and stickers. I think it made for a really clean and simple card!

Stamp Anniething: Happy

 Hi everyone!

It's my day to post over at Stamp Anniething and I wanted to use Kelly - Happy for my project today. :)

 

So if you don't know, this cutie comes packaged like this:

 

 

You can choose to stamp the balloons or not stamp them - it's your choice. How clever is that?!

I decided not to stamp them. Instead I left her hand waving hello. I think it still made for  a super cute image, don't you?

I also used the "happy" sentiment in the set and stamped it on a die cut speech bubble I had in my stash. Super simple - I figured I could stamp "birthday" or "day" or "for you" as the inside sentiment. The possibilities are endless!

I used an American Crafts paper pad I had in my stash and just created layers. I really love how it turned out!

Scrappy Moms Stamps TTC: Out of This World!

 Hi everyone!

It's another Tuesday and it's time for another Terrific Tuesday Challenge over at Scrappy Moms Stamps! This week our challenge is OUT OF THIS WORLD so show us your outer space, alien, extra-terrestrial etc. projects!

Here's mine!

 

Ok, I think I'm the only one on the planet who hasn't seen The Force Awakens yet (don't hurt me! LOL). It's just that when the movie came out, the hubs took the older 2 kids to see it, leave me and L at home (since we weren't sure he would be able to sit for almost 3 hours). And that's why I never watched it. At this rate, I'll wait for the DVD. LOL

Anywho, I still know a bit about it, and BB8! Isn't this cut file from Lettering Delights so CUTE?! When I saw him, I had to have him. And I KNEW he'd be perfect for this week's Out of this World challenge. I paired him up with a sentiment from the new Out of this World set from Scrappy Moms stamps and used a bit of my favorite October Afternoon Rocket Age paper (I'm glad most of you know what I'm talking about when I say I LOVE this paper pad!

Super simple card and one 8 year old we know just absolutely loved it.

Stamp Anniething: Happy Thoughts on Your Birthday

Hi everyone!

It's my day to post over at the Stamp Anniething blog so I thought I'd create a card using the new Paige from this month's new princess-themed stamp release!

Here's my card!

So I wanted to go a different route this time and create a princess-themed card using non-traditional princess colors - You know the kind: pastels, sparkles, etc.:) I decided to color my card using dark teals and turquoises and I think it came out pretty cool! It's like she's a midnight princess. :)

I colored her with my Copics and paired her with some Studio Calico patterned paper I had in my stash. The sentiment is an AmyR sentiment and I stamped it out with Versamark and used white embossing powder. :)

One of my most favorite cards this year!

Scrappy Moms Stamps January Release: You R2 Awesome!

 Hi everyone and Happy Saturday!

Today I'm sharing one of my most favorite recent projects and it's for the newest release over at Scrappy Moms Stamps using the new Out of this World set!

 When I saw this cut file from Lettering Delights, I KNEW I had to have it and give it a try. I mean, come on. Seriously? Hello cuteness!

I used more of my cherished Rocket Age October Afternoon paper. You guys just don't understand the hoarding I'm doing with this paper pad. I'm literally using every piece of scrap I have from this pad! I just can't get enough of it!

And how perfect is the sentiment I used?! I just love it!!!

Stamp Anniething February Release Day #3: Annie!

For today's card, I decided to color her as Belle from Beauty and the Beast. Isn't she just so lovely?! I paired her up with some of my most favorite Dear Lizzy patterned paper and some fabric washi tape I had in my stash. The sentiment is from the Enchanted stamp bundle over at Jaded Blossom. If you know anything about Beauty and Beast, you know that these are just MADE for each other, don't you think?! I don't know about you, but there's a feeling of awesomeness when you find that ONE sentiment in your stash that really goes well with your card! haha

Stamp Anniething February Release Day #2: Paige!

I decided to color her as Cinderella and she's super ready for the ball. :) I kept the patterned papers I used really simple and matted them with some cardstock. I added some gold chipboard hearts I had in my stash and used a sentiment from an AmyR set I had in my stash. I think it all came together for a really easy and simple card!

Stamp Anniething February Release Day #1: Giselle

Ok, so anyone who knows me in real life knows I'm a HUGE Disney fan! So this month's release from Stamp Anniething has got to be one of my favorites. I mean, come on. We're talking PRINCESSES. And it's not necessarily because they're Disney princesses, they're princesses who could be colored as your Disney favorite princesses. You see what I'm saying? :)

 

I colored up this Giselle as one of M's favorite Disney princesses - Ariel from the Little Mermaid. I think I got her hair and dress right, don't you think? I created a sort of scene as well with a wave border die I had in my stash and I also created the sky and "sand." The sentiment is from an AmyR stamp set I had in my stash. I also stamped the inside:

Scrappy Moms Stamps January Release + TTC: I (heart) You!

 Hi everyone!

It's another release day card and it's a new Terrific Tuesday challenge over at the Scrappy Moms Stamps blog! Today's challenge is I (HEART) YOU, so create a love card, a card with a heart on it, or any way you want to interpret this "heart" challenge and show us what you got!

Here's my card using the new Truly, Madly, Deeply set you can find at the Scrappy Moms Stamps store!

 

 I'm in love with Asian themed images - especially NINJAS! So when I found this super cute ninja who's part of the Ninja Valentines cut file set from SVG Cutting Files, I knew I had to have him! I love how he's holding the heart and the ninja star so I thought the "You make my heart pop!" sentiment was perfect for him. :)
