This week's challenge is all about HALLOWEEN, so with this fabulous time of year just around around the corner, I thought it would be fun to play with Kelly on another card!
I colored her up with my Copics and added some Wink of Stella to her hair and dress to give it extra shimmer (bummer you can't see it in the photo), the sentiment is from the new Warts Up set from Scrappy Moms Stamps and the background papers are from my stash (Echo Park and Martha Stewart!).
I think all of it came together pretty well, don't you?!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful rest of the week! :)
Here is what I created with the new Felicity Stamp!
Frappucinos!!! I'm totally addicted to Starbucks Mocha Frappucinos, let me TELL you! I was never into coffee for such a long time - I swear I've been working night shift for 15 years and I JUST now started drinking coffee, probably 3 years ago... Fraps are definitely my fave and this adorable Frappucino Loving Felicity is definitely a stamps that SPEAKS to me! Isn't she SO cute?!
I can't even name my supply list because I was so inspired (and super inspired to, for once, clean up after a project!) that I just grabbed the things in my stash that really SANG to me. :)
OMG, how CUTE is he with that cell phone? Wouldn't you know it, my 8 year old son wants a cell phone now. Yes, J is EIGHT! Can you believe it?! I told him not until he gets a job and he can pay for his own bills! haha!
patterned paper: My Mind's Eye stamp and sentiment: Totally Hip James (Stamp Anniething) Copics: skin: E000, E00, E11; hair: E25, E27, E29, E33; hat, scarf, shoes: W3, W5, W7, W9 pants: B95, B97, B99; shirt: R22, R24
She comes with a separate pair of "nerdy" glasses you can mask and stamp off to add to her (or any of Chibi Kid Line!). How cool, umm I mean hip, is that?
Megan will be available in the store FRIDAY along with the other 2 stamps we show you for you this week!!
I love that Fall is upon us, but I still love bright, fun colors so I decided to still create a card with just that color palette. :) I thought it would be fun to use some dimensional stickers I had in my stash as well. I think the card all came together so nicely, don't you?
I'm back with a new card I created for Digi My World! I used the adorableone of the adorable images from the Bushel of Memories digi stamp set - so cute!
I just love this time of year when the leaves are turning brown and the air is starting to cool down - well, it should cool down! Northern California has been experiencing summer-like weather for the past 2 weeks! I'm ready for Fall to begin!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful weekend! :)
It's a new Tuesday and that means a new Terrific Tuesday Challenge over at Scrappy Moms Stamps! This week we're creating cards with a PUMPKIN PATCH theme, so get those thinking caps on - we want to see what you've got! :)
Here's my card:
Ok, so I know my image isn't *technically* at the pumpkin patch... but he's dressed as a pumpkin - doesn't it count?! LOL I just really wanted to color this image up and I was looking for any excuse to do it. :) Yay for a pumpkin patch challenge theme!
This cute little Pumpkin Ian is from The Greeting Farm Spooky set (no longer available). I colored him up with my Copics and I think he came out SOOO cute! The patterned paper I used is from DCWV. The sentiment is from the new Scrappy Moms Stamps set, Warts Up (It's awesome. Go get it.).
I really love how my card turned out! Hope you do too!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!
With the hustle and bustle of all of my DT commitments, I really haven't had a chance to update with what's going on in my world aside from crafting!
Back in August, we went to Disneyland!
(family selfie outside of Disney's California Adventure)
I had a chunk of days off in August so I thought we should take the kids to Disneyland! We got annual passes back in January and I knew we needed to maximize our trips to make getting the passes worth it. People ALWAYS ask me and for those who are wondering: if you get an annual pass, you break even after two 3-day trips. Anything after that, you come out ahead! #winning
We only did a 2.5 day trip - we wanted to do a longer one, but sadly, life calls (translation: school started) and it just wasn't in the cards (translation: we broke. LOL).
(M walking around Disney's California Adventure)
So how did we tackle such a short trip? Honestly, we've been to Disneyland SO many times and we have our passes so we never feel like we NEED to do everything in one trip. We ride a handful of rides, wait in a ton of lines, eat the food we look forward to, walk, and then repeat.
We just love being at Disney.
(Heimlich's Chew Chew Train)
So with the selfie stick ban, I'm getting good at taking these selfies, don't you think? LOL
It was our first time going without our DSLR camera and we just used our phones. It was actually really freeing - we didn't have to lug around a heavy camera, we didn't have to keep tabs on who had it or who was responsible for carrying it, etc. Our quality of pictures aren't the greatest, but I'm so happy that we all just had a good time, instead of being so focused on taking pictures. It's all about creating the memories, not just posing for them.
(I just love Cars Land. I'm always so amazed at how REAL everything looks.)
As we were walking around the park, a really nice couple gave us their World of Color FastPasses. How very kind of them! We have never bothered to try and watch a World of Color show - mostly because it's kind of late for the kids and our patience and tolerance for large crowds is pretty low by that time of day, but who were we to refuse the kindness of strangers?
We heard it wasn't the *best* WOC show, but we still enjoyed it.
And the kids got their daily churro and popcorn fix.

I hope you all liked my post today! I'll be back for more Disney adventures SOON!
It's my day to post over at the Digi My World blog so if you've joined me from there, WELCOME! :)
Today I have a fun Halloween card to share with you using the super stinking adorable Nerdy Halloween digi stamp set:
I thought it would fun to create a fun scene card using all of the images from the set. I used Photoshop Elements to resize the .png files and layer them on top of each other. When got them where I wanted, I made sore print them out so that they would take up most of the space of a 4"x5.25" card front of an A2 sized card.
I used Copic markers to color them in and used some Stormy Sky Tim Holtz Distress Ink for the cloudy sky (FAVORITE technique!).
Finally I finished my card off with a fun sentiment from the new Warts Up sentiment set from Scrappy Moms Stamps. :)
Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
