I'm back with another card to share with you today!
So I've been REALLY rediscovering some stamp companies I loved once before, but with all of the busy-ness of life, and my other DT commitments, I just never really "added" more of their product in my collection. One of these companies is Unity - and I really have to stay off their site because it seems like I ALWAYS want EVERYTHING and there's ALWAYS a sale going on. LOL
I picked up the adorable "Swagger" set a while back and I wanted to try coloring with my Inktense pencils - OMG, I'm so IN LOVE with coloring with watercolor pencils! I don't do it nearly enough, but I seriously LOVE it.
Didn't he come out just so cute?! *squeal*
I just kept the card super simple and paired it up with some of my favorite patterned paper in my stash. I really love how it turned out!
I'm back with another card for this month's release for Scrappy Moms Stamps! This one features another sentiment from the Anchors Away set!
Check it out:
I used the Sailboat cut from the Life is a Beach cartridge and cut it out with my Cricut Explore - I'm getting really fond of using my cutting machines lately! I used the Paradise Pier paper bad from Crate Paper for the image and the pieces for my card - it came out so perfectly!
I really think the sentiment rounds of the card very nicely, don't you think? :)
Be sure to check out the Scrappy Moms Stamps blog and don't forget to play along with today's blog hop DT members for a chance to win a fun prize!
AND, don't forget about the fun sale going on right now! Check out the Scrappy Moms Stamps blog for more info! :)
I'm back with another Scrappy Moms Stamps project the other set from this month's release! This one is called Writing on the Wall and it's awesome for your Chalkboard Projects!
Here's my birthday-themed card:
Super simple, but I really wanted to just have that little "chalkboard" circle stand out on my card. I rubbed an embossing tool on my black cardstock before stamping the sentiment "Sending You Joyful Birthday Wishes" with Versamark and then using white embossing powder to pop it up. I really LOVE the way it turned out and have so many ideas using this set and can't wait to put them to good use!
When you see the set, you'll see what I mean:
Awesome, right?

I used some fun paper from Carta Bella and the cute little anchor is die cut from a Paper Smooches die. I thought the sentiment was perfect for my card - and yay for using my stash (I haven't touched that die in FOREVER!

It's officially SUMMER VACATION in our household and that comes with lots of time outside, playdates for my kids, and going on adventures as a family!
And with all of those things, my crafty time becomes, unfortunately less and less. :(
BUT, I AM going to try and craft as much as I can.
Here's a card I created using a cut file from the STAR WARS HOP sponsored by SVG Cutting Files & Jaded Blossom back in May. (**note: these files are no longer available as they were only a part of this hop for 24 hours**)
When I saw the SVGs included in this hop, I knew I had to play along! And I KNEW I had to pick up the CANDY WARS stamp set from Jaded Blossom as well - such clever sentiments, I knew they had to go in my collection!
Awesome, right?
I made this card in early May but it's been so busy I haven't had a chance to share it until today...
Here's a little YT vid answering a little bit as to where I've been. :)
Hope you all are doing well! Hopefully I'll be back soon with more projects! Until then, have a great weekend! :)
It's time for a new Terrific Tuesday Challenge over at Scrappy Moms Stamps! This week we're celebrating DAD!
Here's my card!
When I was little, I LOVED watching football on TV with my dad. And we both had a mutual love for the San Francisco 49ers (Steve Young is still my FAVORITE of all time). So I decided to create a FOOTBALL themed card using Quarterback Ian (retired) from The Greeting Farm. I colored him up with my Copics and even made his uniform to match the gold and red. :)
The football in the background was hand cut and I ran it through my Cuttlebug using a bubbles embossing folder - I don't own the one I REALLY wanted to use, but this will do.
Finally I topped the card off with the "You're the Best" sentiment from the More Mini Messages set. It's not technically a Father's Day sentiment, but I thought it went really well. :)
Thanks so much for stopping by today - be sure to head on over the Scrappy Moms Stamps blog to link your DAD-themed cards and check out the rest of the design team too!
