Good morning!
So I'm pushing myself creatively in a few ways:
1. Step out of my A2 card size box.
2. Use stuff I don't normally use or that I haven't used in a while.
3. Try new Copic color combos.
supplies: card base: pre-corrogated card (Recollections); DP: Lucky Charm (American Crafts); Digi Stamp: Dressy Mae (Some Odd Girl); sentiment: Hero Arts; doily dies (My Favorite Things); flowers: iamroses.com; trim: Recollections
This card is a ready-to-use corrogated card by Recollections. I picked up a box of them using a coupon at Michaels. I always forget to use them because the box of them sits high on my shelf and I tend to not look around my room when I craft. I like things easily accessible. I REALLY need to get out of that habit. *lol*
I used this beautiful digi image from Some Odd Girl and colored her up with my Copics - I love how SOG images are differently angled - the focus isn't just straight on the image. The image is sometimes turned away, turned to her/his side, looking up, looking down... They all help me really practice with my coloring and shading.
And I need A LOT of practice. :)
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Happy Saturday!
