Skipping Stones Design Blog Hop

Good morning and welcome to my stop for the Skipping Stones Design Blog Hop! :)

This is a very special blog hop in honor of Heather, Skipping Stones Design's owner and designer extrordinaire, who is taking a bit of a hiatus from SSD to refocus on life and family. And if you've been following my blog for a while, you may remember that I was lucky enough to be a part of the SSD DT for a year and I'm so appreciative to Heather and SSD for that time! So when I was asked to be a part of the blog hop, it was a no-brainer that I wanted to join in on the fun!

Anyway, enough with the sappiness, here's my card using my favorite stamp set, Uplifting.

supplies: CS: kraft (Bazzill), Very Vanilla (SU!); DP: My Mind's Eye; stamp set: Uplifting (Skipping Stones Design); ink: Tuxedo Black (Memento); Lacey Square Nestabilities (Spellbinders); other: hemp cord, button, dimensional adhesive, corner rounder

So, my card is super simple and again, I've used my favorite SSD set. I'm in love with Hot Air Balloons and for this blog hop we were asked to use our favorite set - no holds barred. So, yay for paper piecing! :)

Funny when I came to your blog I was thinking...wonder if she will used the Uplifting stamp set. I love this set too. Your card is so pretty with the paper piecing and the pretty papers and mat.

What a lovely card! This hot air balloon looks fabulous paper pieced!
