Hi everyone!
Are you all recovered from Halloween???
We took J & M trick-or-treating and they enjoyed it for the most part. M was a bit tired toward the end and was starting to be afraid of all the spooky decorations some of the neighbors put up. I guess when you're 3 1/2 years old, Halloween can be quite scary, don't you think?
Anyway, welcome to my blog - It's the 1st of November and there's a new release at SKdigis! Sonia has really created some ADORABLE images that you don't want to miss!
I couldn't wait to play with this super cute T-rex!
supplies: CS: random scraps from my stash (the best kind! *lol*), Solar White CS (Neenah); digi stamp: dinosaur T Rex (SKdigis); ink: Vintage Photo Distress Ink (Ranger), Tuxedo Black (Memento); Volcano (Create a Critter Cricut Cartridge); grass punch (Martha Stewart), Cloud punch (Fiskars); sentiment: Pink By Design); other: Copic Markers, Gypsy.
Ok, so I created a quick little You Tube video showcasing my card for you today!
;
But if you don't want to sit through it (it's really short, I promise!), I'll explain my process.... I wanted to create another scenic card - my favorite! And I remembered that one of my Cricut carts had a volcano on it - Create a Critter! I used my Gypsy for the SECOND time this week and "hid" the little face on the volano - I didn't think it belonged. *lol* So the dinosaur is in the "land before time" with volcanoes, blue skies, and yes, grass. :) clever right?
Love how Sonia's digis lend themselves to really cute scenic cards! :)
Anyway, for the months of November and December, the DT is doing something different! Since these months seem to be the busiest times of the year, we're having a month long linking party/challenge:
Anything Goes with SKdigis as the main image!
You can link your projects at SKdigis.com until November 30 at 11:59pm EST.
And guess what? For the next 24 hours you can purchase the entire SKdigis November New Release for only $10 - That's EIGHT digital stamps! Go HERE for more info and to purchase!
Thanks for stopping by today! Hope you all have a wonderful rest of the week! Happy November! :)
