Scrappy Saturday: Preschool

Happy Saturday, everyone!

I think I've finally found my groove in the craft room - it's *almost* organized and it's somewhat CLEAN! That means there's more time to PLAY! :)

I finally got a chance to play around and actually SCRAP so maybe this is the beginning of the return of my "Scrappy Saturday" posts! Keep your fingers crossed!

AND, to add to the awesomeness, my layout is TWO pages WITH multiple photos! Yeah, I think think that's pretty awesome. :)

I've had the Grade School Stack from DCWV on my shelf for a while. I've had every intention of using it on the kids' school layouts, so I thought that it was as good of a time as any to use that BAD BOY up!

I found a stack of pictures of J that I didn't know what to do with, so I decided to create a year-in-review double-layout.

Here are the layouts up close...

I used the "Locker Talk" cartridge from Cricut for the title. I picked it up from eBay a few weeks ago. I wasn't sure if I wanted it for my Cricut cart collection, but when I saw the school-themed images I knew I had to have it. Yay for bidding late at night - I never have to compete with anyone! *lol*

And yay for using my Cricut this month! I've met my monthly goal already! haha

So my layout is super simple, but I think it's effective. It's going to go in J's school album that he can take with him when he's grown up and moved out of the house and married. (here are some other layouts that are going in that album.) :)

The rest of my layouts and albums I have of him? Well, they're staying with me, of course! :)

I've become so bad about scrapping layouts. And my cricut, well it has a layer of dust on it so that kinda tells how long its been since I used it. You've made me want to pull out some photos and scrap again though! Adorable layout!!!

J...all grown up and married?? Boohoo! Pls don't let the time go so fast!! Cute l.o.! Great paper. I'm glad you're getting to scrap, especially multiple and older pics.

I'd love to scrap more & join you every week. Im so bad at ordering my pics! But I've actually had an idea since I've been cleaning my craft room-- I found all of these old lay-outs that I've done & never shown here or anywhere. And now that SiStV is gone, my other l.o.'s from 2006-2007 are now gone from the Internet site too. Now to figure out how to make a blog button for a 'throw-back project or lay-out' day. Did you make your Bday bloghop through photobucket or your Mac?
