Welcome to Sketch Challenge 93 and the release of Holiday Cats!
If you just came from Karen"s blog, you are in the right place. If you just happened along my blog today, start at the beginning of the hop at Skipping Stones Design. The entire hop order is there and you can hop from blog to blog with ease.
Here is this week's sketch!
Fabulous, right?! Here's my take on it:
supplies: CS: kraft, red (Bazzill), white (Neenah); DP: Martha Stewart; stamp set: Holiday Cats (Skipping Stones Design); ink: Tuxedo Black (Memento); square & lacey square Nestabilities (Spellbinders); twine (Whisker Graphics) corner rounder, Copic Markers, eyelets.
Holiday Cats is probably my favorite set - but then again, I say that about all of the Skipping Stones Design sets. *lol* Isn't this cat in the pumpkin so ADORABLE? :)
I really pushed myself and used more of a Martha Stewart paper pad I had picked up from Michael's last year. I thought it was perfect and it doesn't SCREAM Halloween. *lol* I also used *dun dun dun* some OLD eyelets I've had since eyelets were born, when they were all the rage - there was an insert in my eyelet box - I picked them up from Impress Rubber Stamps back in *drumroll* 2001! I kid you not! *lol*
Anyway, I LOVE how my card came together with this week's sketch. Don't you just love that? :)
Be sure to hop along and leave comments on all the fabulous designers’ blogs. This month we are welcoming Nicole Mullan, Amber Daigre, Cristina Kowalczyk, Vanessa Menhorn and Chan Vuong to our team as Guest Designers! Amy Sheffer will be providing all the fabulous sketch inspiration this month including the sketch we're using in today's hop!
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Now head over to Nicole's blog for some more Skipping Stones Design inspiration!
