Finally Friday! Thanks for stopping by!
One of J's favorite "crafts" when he's with me in my craft room is to use my Cricut. He picks an image from one of my cartridges and then I cut it out for him.
Anyway, there was a sale recently at CricutMachine.com and I picked up this Batman Cartridge. J's been really into "superhero" type of characters lately so I knew he would get a kick out of the projects on this cartridge...
I decided to try out creating the 3-D image... Ok, let me begin by saying that I'm a NOVICE when it comes to working with my Cricut. I don't use it that often even though I have a ton of cartridges. I'm always in AWE of people who can do amazing things with their Cricut. I'm just not that skilled - although I'd like to be!
So on to the project...
Adorable, right?
I cut him at 7inches... It really *hurt* me to cut into my stash on a project that J or M might waste and destroy but I had to tell myself that paper is meant to be cut, not hoarded.
and the backside...
It took, literally, an HOUR to make this little guy... AND I involved DH too! He helped folding the lines and gluing it all together! One hour - SERIOUSLY!
But look at J's face - he was so happy!
And it was definitely worth it. :)
Happy Friday!
Its so cute Jo! Do they have a Kai Lan one? And little J looks very happy :)

OH MY GOSH! That is SOOOOOOOO awesome! I have to say, I saw where you said that it killed you to cut into paper and I have gotten over it, paper needs to be USED not hoarded. And again, I had the same thought as you, as soon as I saw J's face I said to myself "SO worth cutting that paper!" :) Brady would flip his lid if I made that but no cricut here. I might have to go to your house to make one. ;)
