Good morning, again, everyone! You may have seen me use this set before, but today we're doing a PRODUCT SPOTLIGHT on the Petit Four Owls. I just LOVE these little guys!
I was inspired to create a grid with them, like the Brady Bunch. :) Kinda cute, right?
I distressed edges of all of my cardstock in Chocolate Chip ink. I'm really loving how this looks. I kept my design simple and added a pop of color with the new 3/8" Orange Grosgrain ribbon and the You're a Hoot! sentiment that I stamped on Golden Tangerine CS.
I'm really liking neutral colors but adding a POP of something bright!
Thanks so much for visiting today! Be sure to check out the DeNami blog for more inspiration on how to use this super cute set of stamps! Have a wonderful day!
So you may have been wondering where my Whimsy Haven Wednesday posts have gone! The fabulous design team and our fearless leader Lindsay have decided to a Summer vacation of our own. Instead of all of us creating cards every week, we're hijacking the Whimsy Haven blog and taking turns to post! So today is my turn! :)
Don't worry, while we're on our Summer vacation, all stamps will still be available to purchase! :)
Here's my card for this week!
For my card I used the palm tree image from the SUMMERTIME set. I simply printed it on my ivory CS and distressed the edges with SU! Chocolate Chip ink. The DP is Making Memories. The sentiment is from Amuse. The green CS is from DeNami.
Hope you enjoy my Whimsy Haven card today! Be sure to check out my WH post up at the blog as well! :)

Hello again, everyone, and welcome to my stop on the Taylored Expressions Blast from the Past July Blog Hop! This is my 3rd time participating in these awesome blog hops and I'm loving every minute of it! They're so much fun and I really love ANY excuse to use my TE stamps!
For today's blog hop, we had the option of creating a card using a sketch by the awesome Sankari Wegman:
And here's my take on it... Notice I didn't use ANY ribbon - HUGE accomplishment for me! *lol*
AND, I even created an INSIDE to it!
For my card I used the newest Summertime Project Pantry kit. I really love the bright, fun colors of this one and thought it would be awesome to pair it with TE's Doctor's Orders stamps. It should brighten anyone's day if they're they're feeling under the weather, right?
Thank you all so much for visiting today! Your next stop on the hop is the awesome blog of ANGELA BEAR.
Today is the 20th of the month and it's brought to you a DeNami Challenge!
The challenge is based of this sketch by the fabulous Jenny!
Super fun and easy, right? Here's my take on it!
For my card, I used the super adorable Trick or Treat Chickies and colored them in with my SU! Stampin' Write Markers. Aren't they super adorable? I love how they're already ready for Halloween!
I kept my card super simple and wanted to focus all of the attention on these adorable chicks. I stamped my Teeny Swiss Dot on Leaf Green CS (probably one of my most favorite greens to work with!). I also used the new Amethyst CS to mat my sentiment and main image and Charcoal CS as my base. The sentiment is the adorable Trick or Tweet. Super cute and fun - perfect for this Halloween image!
You'll have to pardon my embossing skills. I'm a little rusty as you can see at the bottom of the card. :)
But thank you all for visiting today! Hope you get a chance to play along with DeNami's challenge! And be sure to check out what the rest of the DT has created!
Well, I don't post many of my haul videos here on my blog, but they HAVE been happening. :) I mainly just keep them on my You Tube channel because 1) it's easier for me and I don't have to create a separate blog post for it and 2) I usually end up forgetting. *lol*
No crafty post today, just my Weekly Round-Up video. :) And included in this video is a couple of hauls from the week.
Ok, so I'm really going to try and post something crafty everyday at least Monday through Friday. I know I've said that before, but I really NEED to do this. First, it's because I need to keep you guys coming back for more and second, I need to use up my stash and CREATE! *lol*
I've actually been really good about using what I've been buying lately. I'm notorious for collecting hoarding, but I've been really good! I've been telling myself that new stuff comes out ALL the time, so I better use what I have...to make room for more! :)
So here's my card for you today. I actually created this last month because I was considering trying out for the Squiggles & Giggles DT. I thought about it for a while but decided not to. I love their stamps, but I just couldn't handle any more on my creative plate right now. I've decided to focus more on things for ME and MY FAMILY so I want to get back in to creating more scrapbook layouts. Makes sense right? Scrapbooking is what got me started in the papercrafting world. I need to go back to my roots.
Anyway, I used this adorable image and used a bunch of PTI for the rest of my card. I think it came out super adorable!
Thanks so much for visiting today!
Stay tuned for tomorrow's post - it's Weekly Round-Up time! :)

Good morning again, everyone!
It's time for another DDSB Challenge! This time it's to USE YOUR SCRAPS!
We all have scraps lying around, right? Mine are tucked in a 2 containers - one for solids and one for patterns. I'm going to move them into a drawer, but haven't done it yet. I'm still in the process of reorganizing my bedroom AKA Crafty Sweatshop! *lol*
Anyway, I'm a huge fan of using my scraps so this one was a super easy challenge for me:
I used some old scraps of My Mind's Eye paper - I think I used it on a scrapbook layout a while back.... and the rest is from the Taylored Expressions Valentine's Key Ingredients kit. I used the adorable Basket full of Love image from Digi Doodle Shop. I'm getting into distressing so I used some Vintage Photo Distress Ink all around my scraps of paper. :)
Hope you all like it! Thanks so much for visiting today! Please take the time to stop by the rest of the DDSB DT to see what they've created!
Pardon my picture taking-skills. I'm still haven't found my *groove* with photographing my layouts! *lol*
Anyway, my layout is super simple - instead of a horizontal pic, I used a vertical one. I used a bunch of Fancy Pants DP and my American Crafts Thickers. I used the singe flower and dragonfly from the SUNSHINE kit and used my Star Dust Stickles to make them sparkly.
Design-wise, this might be my favorite most recent layout! Thanks for such an awesome sketch, Claudie! :)
Thanks for visiting today! Stop by later to see my DDSB card for the week! And be sure to check out the rest of the TGF Scrapbooking Guest DT to see what they've created with this sketch!
I didn't realize that it's been a few days since I've posted something crafty! I wanted to share a quick card today!
I made this card for a friend's high school graduation last month (so I won't be able to feature it on this week's Weekly Round-Up video!). It's super simple because he's a teenage boy graduating from high school - did he REALLY want something cutesy? *lol*
I used some white DeNami CS for the base, and SU! scraps. The sentiment is from PTI (my favorite sentiment set!) and the ribbon is from SU! - I love it because it's so super THICK!
Thanks so much for visiting today! If you haven't had a chance to subscribe to my You Tube Channel - I'm at 66 or so subscribers! When I get to 100 subscribers, I'm doing a GIVEAWAY! But you have to subscribe to my channel! :)
It's finally FRIDAY! Yay! But not so YAY for me since today is technically my MONDAY and I have to work 3 nights in a row. I don't have any creative posts planned - it's been a crazy week. I've finally moved my most-used scrapping/stamping stuff into my bedroom AKA "Crafty Sweatshop" - I love this term coined by Gallery Idol 2010 Winner Belinda Chang Langer! That's how I feel - All my stuff, mind you, this is over 10 years worth of accumulated stuff, is crammed into a tiny corner of my bedroom. *sigh* It's only temporary - we're hoping to move within a year! Keep your fingers crossed!
Anyway, I have a card to share with you:
Finally a non-DT project! :)
Geisha Anya has got to be one of my favorite TGF stamps of all time. I think she, along with Hula Anya, Nurse Anya & HG Sing were my first purchases. After that, I was ADDICTED to The Greeting Farm... and now the rest is history. :)
I was inspired by the Kioshi 6x6 paper pack from Basic Grey and though it would be fun to color up this cutie again and make a card. The sentiment is from the Anya Says set. And the clouds are die cut from PTI. I inked up the edges with my newly acquired Distress Ink in Vintage Photo and Tumbled Glass. I really love how this card turned out!
Anyway, I thought I would try something fun beginning this week. I'm becoming addicted to the inspiration and ideas found on You Tube! I've actually been posting videos on my channel, but haven't linked them here yet - so if you want to check out some of my recent videos, go HERE. Well, I thought it would be fun to do a weekly video of all of the projects I've done for the week. I'll still post my projects on their assigned days, but at the end of the week, I'll show them off in a video and do a little explaining, a little chatting, and a little babbling about my projects. Hope you enjoy them! Here's the first one:
Thanks for visiting today! Have a fabulous weekend!
