DeNami, wee Memories, & STITCHING!

Hello again!

I have another DeNami card to share with you guys! This week, DeNami is sponsoring my pal Jenny's wee Memories challenge: STITCHING!

Ok, you all know that I CANNOT sew. I've whined about enough, I think. *lol* But did you know DeNami Design carries stitching stamps???

There are quite a few of them and I really had to stop myself from adding to my collection *cough* buying to many. :)

My card for the challenge features the Stitched Border stamp. Simple and understated, just how I like it! There are so many possibilities with this simple stamp, I can't wait to experiment!

I stamped the Surfboard Trio stamp on 3 different pieces of patterned paper and cut them out individually and placed them on top of my kraft "sand." I also inked the edges with some dark brown ink to give the sand  more definition. I then placed all of it against my sky card base, placed a couple of die cut clouds on top, and stamped Aloha in Versamark to look like sky writing.

Well, I'm off for the day - off to 2 parties: 1. Celebrating my BFF's son's 1st birthday (my godson!) and then celebrating a high school graduation! Whew! I'm already pooped just thinking about our long day!
