And I'm trying new things. READ: aka "adding to rubber stamp collection." *lol*
I ordered a couple of Sarah Kay stamps by Stampavie and they came in the mail the other day. I couldn't wait to color this cute little image. I wanted to practice with different directions the light shines and I wanted to practice using my Copics on images other than Anyas.
So I got this sweet little stamp in the mail and I was actually somewhat disappointed that it was a clear stamp - not rubber. I can't remember if I actually knew this or not. Let's not forget I still have "mommy Brain"... Anyway, the stamp was clear and I'm not really a fan of clear stamps. Yes they're cheaper and when using an acrylic block you can see where exactly you're stamping... But for me, I've found clear stamps, in the past, never have given me crisp images. I've found that I like rubber stamps (mounted or unmounted) better.
But I was pleasantly surprised that I actually liked using Stampavie's stamp! They don't use cheap acrylic and the image was actually inked evenly and produced a clean crisp image. Maybe Stampavie's made me a believer? Who knows... I just liked this stamp. :)
Thanks for visiting today. Hope you are having a wonderful day!
