hooked on Anya.

Here's another card featuring little Flutter Anya. :) Isn't she so adorable? I love the patterned paper I used too. It's new Cosmo Cricket. LOVE it. My very favorite LSS is closing in a few weeks and I was able to stop by for a few things. This paper is too cute. I wish I picked up more! I could kick myself for not doing it. *sigh* Oh well. So is the story of my life - I always convince myself not to do or get something and then I regret it later. And then when I go back for it, it's gone.

I went shopping the other day for shoes. I'm in my sister in law's wedding in a few weeks and need shoes to wear. So I hit up Nordstrom's anniversary sale to take a look around. I found a cute pair of shoes, but the sales girl brought me a different pair to try on - I fell in love with them and bought them right away. Anyway, she also brought out some Cole Haan boots to try on. Mind you, I didn't ask for boots to try on - the shoes I had in my selection were all pumps, sandals and flats.

Anyway, I tried them on to indulge myself. OMG. They were awesome boots. Super cute AND they fit over my calves (I've got big calves). I asked how much they were - CHA-CHING! WAYYYYY TOO MUCH for my taste. Let's just say, it's worth a Cricut Expression (and the boots were ON SALE at 50% off!)

Is it bad that I justify worth by how much I can get in scrapbook/stamping supplies with that kind of money?

Anyway, I didn't get the boots. But, I've been thinking about them. A LOT. I know I don't need boots. It's frivolous and spendy. But they're still nice to think about... At least I have until August 3rd before the price goes back up.

Super cute- I like flutter Anya with the dark hair! I think it's because I'm biased ;).

Girlfriend, for as long as I've known you, you have never indulged too much on clothing except for shoes! And take it from someone who has BIG calves (you do not), I would get them. Especially now that you've gone home, thought some more, and still want them. If you were truly being impulsive, you woulda forgotten!

Sucks that our LSS is closing :(.
