10 Days of Cricut Christmas: FAIL! LOL

Hi Friends!

So, my 10 Days of Cricut Christmas series was a FAIL - and I'm not ashamed to admit that. Actually, it wasn't a COMPLETE failure. I got several projects done. See HERE, HERE, and HERE if you don't remember.

I also was able to create a couple more projects that I didn't have time to create blog posts for, but was able to make You Tube videos:

And then there were the 2 cards I never was able to find good sentiments for... so I never was able to film or photograph or blog about them... So that brings my total to 7 projects.

75% of my goal isn't too shabby!

I also finished up a layout, so make that EIGHT!

I got the cutting file from this layout from SVGCuts.com. It's my first Cricut/SVG type layout and I'm pretty pleased! I must admit that it took quite a while to cut out all of the pieces, but after it was all done, it turned out pretty well! It will be a great addition to add to the family scrapbook!

10 Days of Cricut Christmas Day 2 - Snowman Snowcones Card!

Hi everyone!

Today I've got another card to share with you for my 10 Days of Cricut Christmas Series! I'm using the Snowman Snow Cones SVG from SVG Cutting Files!

Can I just say I absolutely LOVE the way this card came out? I'm really having fun with my 10 Days of Cricut Christmas series - it's really challenging my creative mojo and I'm really enjoying the projects I create! Not to mention, I'm getting a lot of use out of my Cricut Explore. It was SO worth the purchase!

 I'm really making good use out of my stash too - trying out new embossing folders, distressing the edges of my die cuts, etc. So much fun!

10 Days of Cricut Christmas! Day #1: HK Snowman Card

 Hi Friends!

I know it's been a while since I've done a blog post - it's December and we ALL know how crazy busy this month can be!

A couple months ago, I took the plunge and bought a Cricut Explore (the lavender one!) and it was just last week that I was able to open up the box and play with it!

So, I've got a video series going on on my You Tube Channel about my adventures with it, so be sure to check it out when you have a chance.

Anyway, today, I decided to get started with a new series: 10 Days of Cricut Christmas! I know I'm guilty of purchasing big ticket scrapbook items and not putting them to good use, or even putting them into use at all! That definitely needs to stop.

So, with this series, I'll be creating 10 different Christmas Projects using my Cricut Explore. I figure that this would be a great way to put some mileage on my machine and make me feel like I'm really getting some use out of it. So far so good! I've created 3 different cards, but I'm showing you this one first since it's complete - with a sentiment and all! YAY!

 I used my very-much-sought-after Hello Kitty Greetings Cartridge. I picked up this card YEARS ago when it was on sale. Who knew that it would be such a HOT COMMODITY years later?! I don't know why Cricut tortures people and decides to retire cartridges. People love this cartridge - including ME!

I absolutely LOVE the way this card turned out! I may have to create more! :)
