Good Morning, everyone!

I've been having a good time buying new stamps lately, but I've also been feeling guilty that some old sets aren't getting any love! So I thought I'd challenge myself to use something "old" every once in a while. I think I can do it!

supplies: CS: blue (Bazzill), white (Neenah); DP: Cosmo Cricket (I think!); stamps: sew lovely (Lawn Fawn); ink: Tuxedo Black (Memento); other: brads, ribbon

I wanted to try my hand at paper piecing again. I'm so used to always reaching for my Copics that I tend to forget that paper piecing is a technicque too! Duh! I think I was reminded when I finally got to meet my online pal Ashley a couple weeks ago - she was at a crop at my LSS along with my longtime friend Suzy & my BFF and I decided to hit up the store to shop and chat!

Anyway, Ashley had made a card and paper pieced the images - and whaddya know? I was inspired (and reminded!) to do it again! *lol* Thanks, girlie! She was also working on a card for a Lawnscaping Challenge, so I was reminded to use my Lawn Fawn stamps again!

Have you heard of Lawn Fawn?

I can't remember how I came to hear of Lawn Fawn, but I'm so glad I did. I remember seeing a couple of adorable cards my gal Ayana created using the Sew Lovely set and I knew I had to check them out!

Here are a couple cards I made using their stamps:

I just loved using their Partly Cloudy set! The umbrella is just too cute and the sentiment is so clever to go with it! I also used the raindrop stamp image to create a background to my card. Super fun!

Here's another card:

This card uses the Sew Lovely set. I'm a daughter of a seamstress so this set really spoke to me! I LOVE the dressform and instead of reaching for my Copics, I paperpieced the image instead. I really love how it came out!
