As a Design Team member for various designers and/or stores, I have received their products for free in return for creating and posting projects. Some of the layouts you see here on my blog were done as a requirement for these DT's. Any additional advertising that I do is purely out of love and my wish for their business to succeed.
I thought I'd make a quick thank you card using Paige! Isn't she so cute?! I used some patterned paper I had in my supply from Echo Park (I picked it up when the Scrapbook Expo was in town!) and cut out some die cut pieces using a die I've had in my stash (that I've never used before, mind you!). The sentiment stamp is from the Java Time stamp set from Jaded Blossom and I even stamped the inside too!
I used a gift card envelope die to house a Starbucks gift card because, well, who WOULDN'T love a Starbucks gift card along with a handmade note? :)
For my card today, I thought I'd use one of the stamps from the Princess release in February, Annie - Such a Beauty.
I've become a fan of shiny things and glitter and bling again, so I thought I'd bling it up with this card! I colored this cutie in a royal blue dress - something different from my normal colors that I normally reach for. I also found some of this bright navy and gold patterned paper I had picked up a while back from Hobby Lobby. I also added some fun bling - She IS a princess, after all! And added a sentiment from the 100% Princess stamp set from Jaded Blossom.
I also stamped an inside sentiment for this one too....
We've been invited to a lot of parties for Malia's friends so I'm always reaching for girly birthday cards! This is so perfect to have on hand!
And now for my project with the super awesome Kelsey!!!
As I draft this blog post up, THE GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS ARE UNDEFEATED so far this season, so I decided to color my Kelsey up in Warriors colors - it's only natural since I live in the Bay Area! :) I found this cut in Cricut Design Space when I searched for "basketball." It's from the Father's Day cartridge and I thought it was perfect for this card! The sentiment is from the GO TEAM stamp set from Jaded Blossom and I also stamped on the inside of my card as well.
What a perfect birthday card, don't you think?!
Well, that's it for our 3 days of new releases! What do you think?! Which is your favorite?!
And now for my project with cute little Slugger James!!
So I grew up in Oakland, CA, but I do have to admit I'm a fan of BOTH Bay Area baseball teams - the San Francisco Giants and the Oakland A's. I know that's totally sacrelige, butI can't help it, I love players from both teams!
For my James card today, I decided to color him up with Giant's colors (orange and black) and set up a little scene for him using my Cricut Explore. I have a Cricut Design Space subscription and did a search for "baseball" and found this Softball cut from the All Sports cartridge. I inked the edges, added a sentiment from the GO TEAM stamp set from Jaded Blossom and VOILA! My card was done!
I colored Trudy up with my Copics and paired her with some bright and fun paper from Simple Stories! I used a sentiment from the GO TEAM stamp set from Jaded Blossom for a fun appreciation card for any coach, teacher, or sports mentor you may know! I think they went together so perfectly, don't you think? :)
