i know what ya mean! my hubby and i have been together for 15 years and we have the same problem when it comes to gifts. :) i've started hand making cards now to and he really seems to appreciate those so much more than the store-bought variety.

love this card you made for your hubby! simple, beautiful, and meaningful. the color you used for the stamp gives it a masculine feel and the twine is the perfect touch! love it!

I totally thought you did the background with a mister. I gave up on cards with my hubby. He really doesn't care so I read on a blog that she and her hubby have notebooks by their bedside and use it to write to each other on special occations. I loved the idea and implemented it for us and my hubby is over the moon that he doesn't have to worry about cards anymore. I'm ok as long as the presents keep coming. LOL
