Happy Saturday, everyone!
So I thought I'd check in with the status of my Project Life undertaking... I'm happy to report that I'm up to date! I may not have posted all of my layouts here (yet) but I will get to it eventually. It's kind of a big undertaking to create posts for everything, but it'll be done...hopefully. :)
I'm finding a lot of awesome Project Life projects out there. Like some REALLY awesome ones. Ones that make me a little jealous of. But mostly I admire them because of their design elements and attention to detail.
But what I'm really working on with my Project Life journey is not to get caught up in the embellishments and the "extra" stuff. Let's face it, I really don't have a lot of time to spend prepping images for cutting with my Silhoutte or pre-stamping sentiments on journal cards, etc. The kids are always at my side (this will change in the Fall when J starts Kindergarten - yay!) and they're often really CLINGY. So my craft time is precious.
And my Project Life pages are simple. And for now, I'm ok with that.
I added a little 6x12 page in the week to include a note I received from school. Apprently J fell down and scraped his head. The school has to send him home with an "incident report." Not an exciting one... but he did get one in preschool when he shoved a bean in his nose and they had to pry it out with a fork! Now THAT'S going in his personal scrapbook! *lol*
And here's the right side of the page. My kiddos spent most of the week sick and napping. The hubs and I watched a couple of movies we rented from Blockbuster so I included pics of the movie posters. Lots of stories to tell so you see a lot of journaling this week. :)
Like I said, it's nothing really fancy, but I do love where my project is going. I really hope I can follow through with this! :)

I'm sure it wasn't good news to hear, but I had to chuckle about the whole "bean in his nose" thing! Recently, a little girl shoved a bead up her nose too! It took forever to get out.

I love all the little pictures and journaling! That's what it's all supposed to be about :) Great job!

Great job with keeping up! I've been taking pictures but have been a major slacker in actually getting them printed and into pages!

No need to be fancy- I think these precious moments are what PL is all about! Love the portions where you can tuck in those mementos- I don't know why I can't get started on mine. Maybe lack of pics?
