I thought I'd pop in and say hello before heading to bed. I *think* I've finally found my crafting groove!
I've discovered that the best time for me to craft is during M's nap... I have to be really careful with this time because of she naps from 2pm-almost 5pm. That's a HUGE chunk of time right? Actually, it's not. Once I get her settled, I have to find something for J to do since he doesn't take naps anymore (wah!)... So usually I let him watch something on TV or let him play Lego Batman for the Wii for an hour.
So that leaves me with an hour (or a little more if this Mommy is on a roll!)...only because, well, then usually I need to start making dinner... around 3pm since DH wakes up around 4pm (since he works nights)...(Which reminds me... I need to make better use of my slow cooker! It will leave me with more crafty time!)
AND, I can only craft Wednesdays, Thursdays, & Fridays. When DH is off from work, I don't want to lock myself up in my craft room all the time (well, actually, that thought DOES sound good... LOL).
Anyway, I've found that if I can color some images at night after I put the kids to bed, I can have them ready for making cards (and hopefully participate in some challenges along the way...)...
So far it's working... Ask me again in a few months if it still is!
(supplies: CS: Stampin' Up!, Neenah; DP: Sassafrass Lass; digi stamp image: Ice Cream Tia (Some Odd Girl); sentiment: Best Yet set (Stampin' Up!); stamping ink: Tuxedo Black (Memento) other: Copics, ribbon (PaperTrey Ink), Nestabilities (Spellbinders), bling (Recollections)
I'm trying to be good and pay attention to the supplies I've been using!
AND I'm trying to be REALLY good and edit my pics better. What do you think? Kind of nice, right?
Anyway, I'm linking this up to this week's challenge over at Some Odd Girl. Like I've said - I'm totally in love withe fun stamps! This week's challenge is BRIGHT AND BLINDING... To use some bright colors! I I think my card speaks for itself! :)
Hope you all have a fabulous weekend! Thanks for stopping by! :)
