the situation.

We've spent the past 3 weeks moving into our new home and we still have about 30% of our stuff left to bring over from the condo.

This is the current status of my craft room. Do you see all of these boxes? My husband moved them ALL from our condo and carried them down 32 steps of stairs, out the door and into the UHAUL by himself. My super strong sister-in-law carried them from the garage and up the stairs of our house and into my room.

And all of my stuff has been sitting there ever since.

My goal is to get my room unpacked and organized by the end of the year... yeah right... Do you SEE how much stuff I have? *hangs head in shame*

So this is why you haven't seen any crafty posts from me in a while. One day I'll make a permanent comeback...but please be patient with me. It's probably not going to be until next year...

DeNami Featured Product: Elegant Floral Arch

Good Morning!

Today I have another fabulous DeNami card featuring the beautiful Elegant Floral Arch stamp.

For my card I flipped the Arch and colored it with my SU! markers. I masked off the Congratulations Circle stamp and stamped it on top - almost like creating a basket. I used my favorite colors - Magenta and Lime and my favorite Bella Press paper sampler: Watermelon. I then finished off the card with DeNami's pretty Pink Grosgrain Ribbon.

Fun right?

DeNami Color Challenge #5

Hi Everyone!

This month's color challenge is brought to you by me! :) Here are the colors I'm challenging you to use:

(vanilla, kraft, pumpkin, green, chocolate)

Let me just say, that I had picked these colors a while back and didn't realize that they would be so difficult for me to use! *lol* I was thinking FALL colors when I picked them and thought they would be awesome...

And guess what? I was right! *lol*

I'm totally loving Fall colors right now... I guess it comes with the season. And I couldn't wait to use my new Solid Decorative Crest stamp! I've been seeing what the rest of the DeNami DT gals hae been doing with this beautiful stamp and couldn't wait to give it a try! I also thought I would use the super simple, but oh-so-cute, Decorative Love stamp. I thought it would be great to add a little fun stamp to something so elegant. I finished it off with my favorite DeNami polka dot ribbon and voila! Here's my card for my very own challenge.

Navajo Anya, a Thanksgiving card, & my DD

Hello everyone.

Wow, it's November already. I can hardly believe it! My crafting time is very scarce but I do have a card to share with you today...

This is a card I made for a swap over at The Scrap Beach. The swap was about making a card for a particular month. I signed up for Thanksgiving. 11 other ladies signed up for a different month. So in return I'll get 11 different cards, each representing a different month of the year. Fun, right? I can't wait to get these cards back and see what everyone has created!

I used the adorable (and retired) Navajo Anya and an SU! stamp. The DP is from Recollections that I got from Michael's.

I not only wanted to created easy cards, but really pretty ones. I think I did a good job, don't you? :)

Hope everyone is doing well and had a great Halloween! The kids and I spent ours indoors - we were all sick so my DS missed on the year we finally were going to take him trick-or-treating! :( There's always next year, right? And hopefully he still wants to wear his Iron Man costume. *lol*

And to finish my post, I'll leave you with a pic of my DD. I was taking pics of my cards this morning and she wanted to "cheese" for me too. :)
